These vines came in a little bag and they looked exactly like what my daughter had been begging me for. She was so excited to receive them as one of her Christmas gifts. However, when she opened the bag, the smell was unbearable. I wish she had not taken the vines out of the bag, but she did before I could stop her and that has left a lingering smell of old cat litter which has managed to waft its way into the hallway, down the stairs, and into the living room. We did not even bother with a return or exchange... We immediately threw them in the garbage. I cannot accurately describe the smell that those vines were covered in. I can only assume that an elderly, un-neautered circus cat with a failing bladder and a former career as an escape artist, had managed to consume a can of expired asparagus juice before somehow making it's way into the bag of vines before it was sealed. It then traveled the world from the comfort of an Amazon box, only to escape moments before it arrived in my mailbox.

I bought these for my room and they came and look good. They look just like the picture. I took them out of the package and they smelled absolutely horrible. I did some research and to get rid of the smell, fill up your sink (or some place where they can be completely submerged) with hot water, sprinkle at least a few tablespoons of baking powder in it to the point where the water is murky. Then but a bunch of gentle good-smelling dish soap and soak them for about 45 minutes. The water in the sink will have some green in it because they are silk but in my case they didnt actually lose any color at all :)

My daughter ordered these for her room to hang with fairy lights as decorations. The leaves are well defined and attractive, the only con is a strong odor which they give off initially but wears off within a day or two. Really pleased with them overall.

So the vines themselves were great. Super cute and I used them to decorate my window but the smell. Wow. Smells like cat pee- Not to worry though- Just aired them out for around 2 hours and they were fine. Please make sure to air them out or your room/wedding/event will smell like a litter box for days. The other reviews that gave only 1 star because of the smell are a little overkill. Just air it out and you'll be fine.TLDR; Vines are great but please air them out- the scent is of a litter box.

The color is beautiful - spring green and looks exactly like new growth. So easy to use, because it comes with green ties, so you can easily attach it. Have it for 2-3 months now, outside, and it's holding up beautifully. Just purchased again and have recommended it to friends. Great product.

Good value. Got plenty of ivy to cover the area intended for. My teens were happy with them!
