Slendertone System-Abs Muscle Toning Belt (Unisex)

I have had this for exactly 1 month. I use it a few times a week, I am seeing a small tone difference. I am not overweight- so others may take longer to notice anything. I mainly wanted to strengthen my core to help my back. I have a desk job.The sensation to me is like a buzzing of pins and needles of a limb that has fallen asleep- I crank it up until it feels sharp then back off a little. after a few minutes I can go higher.It does not go full strength- the whole time it rapidly escalates and then pauses/releases the muscles and then repeats. I think actual crunches would be more effective but hey I can work at my desk and get toned abs :)The first few times I went to 30 but now I like program #3--30min at around intensity of 60 - I do it -2 -3times. after the 3rd time the batteries show 3/4 used. I have not tried the other programs yet or tried to go 4 times on one charge.I think the gel pads are beginning to fail already - today I was feeling a sharp painful pricking and getting a red spot when I looked to try to readjust several times- I took off the offending pad and rotated it and it is ok again for now. When using seated I feel the "buzzing" -down my quads moistly on one leg- kind of annoying- but try to view it as perhaps a bonus.

I've had this for over a year now and I want to give you the heads up. Great product for the first month. I used this after my work outs at the gym and you can definitely feel your abs contracting.You will only see results if you use with diet and exercise. Do not expect abs over night. Only problem is after two months, I'm guessing there was a short in the actual battery and the machine just keeps turning off on it's own.I stopped using it for a few months and had the same experience. Worked great for a week or two then started turning off on its own.I think this is a great product, but just poor execution on the materials used in production. You will need to be sending back to get a replacement. It's worth it if you get a functioning product.

Avid athlete, coming back from knee surgery. Many months laying on the couch turned my core into mush. This has greatly helped with re-educating my core muscles to turn on during intense weight lifting sessions. I'm hoping that this will ultimately help as well with my lower back pain, as lower back pain is usually a sign of a weak core.

Got this as a gift for my boyfriend. I was very disappointed to find that when he opened it, one of the packs of gel pads were missing!! the empty wrapper was in the box. he just started using the belt anyway, and seems to be enjoying it. he said he can feel it working.

Works just fine for beginners. Definitely helps to build strength within the core muscles. The patches are a little worrisome because you really don't know when they "expire" and the battery life is too short (three full uses and maybe a fourth before it has to be charged again). But if you want something to help you build up your core while you watch some tv, sit and read, or just play on your device, this belt will do it.

This works well and I have had amazing results from it. The remote could use improvement it will fray at the ends and beep at you. Be careful with the replacement pads you buy in my experience the metal node will wear down and make the use of the belt more of an inconvenience due to the beeping that comes along with it. Other than these annoyances with regular use this is the best I have found.

Pro.It's helping back pain.Con.A bitch to get on by myself. Velcro slips when u go to sit. That is why the 3 stars.I gained lots of weight after surgery.. Having to use two extensions. Waist is 44 inches.Make it stretch so it will fit tighter.BUT 4 days without painpills!! That is once every evening for 30 min.

This will build muscle tone if you use it everyday. Definitely helps strengthen core muscles over the abdomen and lower back. I could not turn it up past about 60 and even at 60 it's painful. I use it just high enough to help my muscles flex, not to cause pain.

Works great-the belt strengthened by stomach muscles after surgery. I believe I healed faster because of the belt.

As a personal trainer, I can't believe so many people actually try this scam. To get great abs you first have to reduce your body fats.
