Not as bright as I had hoped
Replaced the standard bulbs in my KC lights that cast a yellowish light. I thought these Hella white lights might be better, but they are not half as bright as the standard bulbs I took out. I'm not happy with these bulbs, but a lot of people seem to be according to the reviews. Your mileage may vary.

Not very white....
I converted my headlights to LED bulbs which are daylight temperature and very white so I thought these bulbs would be close to that same temp and color. However, they are closer to standard halogen temp than the LED temp. They are slightly colder than the standard halogen H3 bulbs I replaced but not by much. I was hoping for a colder temp especially when seeing the blue coating on the bulb but I guess that was hopeful thinking.

These bulbs are BRIGHT!
To those of you who aren't getting the output of light you hoped for, there is one thing you are not doing. If you didn't upgrade your wiring harness to a MINIMUM of 12 gauge, these 100 watt lights 1) won't be getting the power they need and 2) You might be blowing fuses, melting wire, or worse...FIRE! Before I even took the bulbs out of the package, I beefed up the wiring harness to my Hella FF 500's. The bulbs are nearly twice as bright as the 55 watt Hellas they replaced. These things put out so much light in fact, you can feel the heat coming off the beam from three and a half feet in front of the lens. Buy 'em, upgrade your wiring, then turn night into day!

They work but....
These are exactly what I wanted in color but I’m not to sure there 100w exactly. I have KC daylighters on the front of my car and there rated for 55w-130w bulbs and I purchased the 100w package. The original KC bulbs were stupid bright but the color was around 3000k, so very halogen orange color. My car has kind of blue leds and just looked weird with halogen spot lights. Got these bulbs hoping they’ll be the same brightness but I’m not too sure. I feel like there not pulling 100w but closer to 75-85w area. All n all looks way better and best bulb to match.
