Good economy fork
The rockshox tk silver are fine forks for the money. I have a pair on my steel 29er and I bought these 26s as and upgrade for my son’s rockhopper. It currently has a coil fork that’s sprung too heavy for him. The air forks are great for adjustment to rider weight and the rebound adj. works pretty good too. The only complaint air forks have is that they feel a bit ‘dead’ when it comes to feedback but that’s with longer travel forks these are 100mm (4 inches) and won’t have that problem to the extent of longer forks. My son weighs 100 lbs and they’ll be great for him. I’m just under 170 lbs and these fork work great for moderate trail riding. Anything more aggressive you’ll want a Reba or SID level build.

Rock shox rocks
I got this shock as a replacement for a coil shock. It made a huge difference on an older mountain bike.

May require cutting to get handlebars the right height.
Awesome shock! Made my old bike feel new again!

Short version: It works, and seems to work well enough. However, I'm a bit mixed about it, as 26" wheels on a mountain bike is now a kids size. That said, I (tubby 170) have taken it on a few bumpy rides & it works reasonably. (Bumpy rides off road, and through streams. Nothing more significant than a 8" drop, probably.)
