Sinfully scrumptious! Rates 10 on scale of 1 to 5!
Sinfully delicious! Hate to say it, but I make room in my super-strict keto diet to allow for ONE OF THESE COOKIES EVERY OTHER DAY BY USING SOME OF MY VERY FEW AVAILABLE CARBS! That’s how sinfully delicious they are. These are some of the best cookies I’ve ever eaten. When I have only 4 cookies left I order another bag. No lie. It’s really worth my rating of 10 on a scale of 1 to 5. And it’s a very simple cookie!

Great value and tasty. Actually taste like ginger !
I love to eat these with coffee. These actually have a ginger bite taste, whereas many other brands are limp and weak on the flavor. These are not too sweet. They are just crunchy enough to satiate the snack reflex of chewing.Bag keeps cookies fresh.

Tastes decent
These have become a problem for me lately, I eat them on a regular basis because they're really good. I enjoy the texture at room temp, if they get cold they're rock solid. Put em in the oven for 5min & they become very soft & fragrant. Only downside is 80% of them aren't frosted, & the ones that are seem to be only partially, & it actually affects the flavors quite a bit. I dislike paying $5 for these just for an amazon employee to pop the bag, & still ship it to me. It's food, & I can't get a refund or exchange even if it's the businesses fault the foods damaged & no longer edible. Still, I buy these often & enjoy them a little too much.

Much Too Sweet for Me
For whatever reason, the ginger snap cookies that I had as a kid (mid 1970's) popped into my head recently making me want to try them again. I guess it's been 30 years since I've had any at all. My Mom didn't always allow us to have "sweets" like cookies on a regular basis. So, when she bought some ginger snaps home as a treat, I was hooked. They were pretty hard but not so much as to be unappealing to me, as well as being loaded with ginger and cinnamon to the point of being almost too hot. They were not overly sweet. I decided to try Archway's ginger snaps since they were a pretty reasonable price on Amazon. I will say that for most people, they're probably exactly what you would expect from a ginger snaps cookie. They're on the smaller side just like the ones I remember, they have a pretty good balance of ginger and cinnamon, they're sweet and they have a nice medium-tender crispiness to them. Unfortunately, they're just not the cookie that I remember or are looking for. They're definitely overly sweet for my taste but might not be so, when paired with an unsweetened cup of tea. However, I just had some straight out of the bag with a little milk. When eaten this way, they are way more sugary than I like.My search continues.

Yummy!
I've been looking for ginger snaps like these for a while. They don't have them in stores. The taste is delicious. For me the selling point was there was no high fructose corn syrup in the ingredients list. All store ones contain corn syrup which I have trouble with. So, I'm happy to find this brand. The cookies are smaller that a regular ginger snap, but they are nice and have the deep molassy ginger flavor. I enjoy them dunked in my tea. Yummy!
