Best of it's class
I bought different tie down strips. Although, this is one with higher price, the quality is the best among all. I feel very safe to use them to secure my kayaks with j-hocks.

THESE STRAPS!!!!!
Very good quality. Pay attention to how they are coiled- up! If you don’t, I doubt you’ll figure it out. It took me about 5 times to learn it. But I guess you can YouTube it. LOL

They do what they’re supposed to do!
Second pair of NRS tie downs. Bought a set last year that ultimately developed a fray in one of them. They probably were used 60-70 times before that happened for frame of reference. This second pair has 50+ trips on them already with no visible wear.Standalone would use these only <60mph transport and add front/rear hitch straps for highway for added stability. My only recommendation make them a 1/4 to 1/2 inch wider and they’d be excellent.

Excellent Tie-Down Straps
I've been using NRS tie-down straps on kayaks and canoes for 30 years with no complaints. In fact, one set of 12' straps are my original NRS straps from 1984.

Great Straps
These are great straps and probably better than my Thule ones that came with a rack. I have no worries using these when I'm tying things down. The straps are solid.

More substantial and much better than the cheap straps that come with J hook carriers.
I bought these for highway trips with my kayaks strapped to the roof and they have a very secure feeling to them from buckle design to the strap material quality these outclass cheap straps. Just buy them if you want high quality straps.

Rubber
Haven't received this yet, but it was exactly what I was looking for at the right price. Almost identical to the THULE brand, but better than half the price.
