The product looked good but did not perform to the standard I expected and needed. One light either stayed on all the time when it was activated or it would not activate when it should have done so.The seller gave me a refund hence the 5 star rating.

Not having a readily available electrical connection for my requirement for two outdoor lights at the back of the house I looked for suitable solar lights, as my primary concern was for security lighting. After having read many reviews on Amazon I finally opted for this pair of solar lights, sold by SINteem. They arrived well packaged and on time. The instructions supplied were easy to follow and I had both lights installed in under half an hour. The back of the house is south facing so the lights are in a good sunny position, therefore, in each case, I have positioned the solar panel just above the light fitting which makes for a neater looking installation, thus no need for an unsightly long trailing lead.The motion detection works well and the lights are very bright, the light remains on for approx 30 seconds. However, after about three weeks one of the lights failed to operate correctly such that when dark the light remained on continuously. I contacted the seller, SINteem, via Amazon for a replacement unit and am pleased to say SINteem responded immediately to my messaging and quickly sent out a replacement, which arrived a day earlier than their prediction.Overall I am pleased with the lights, and response of the seller to a faulty unit (hence the 5 stars), so am prepared to carry on with these lights giving them the benefit of doubt.

The lamp is quite sensitive to passing movement which is good but it lacks an on/off switch. This would be useful to have when the light isn't required eg if an animal is wandering about and keeps triggering it on/off for 30 second bursts.The lamp gives a broad spread of bright, white light on my patio but not a particularly long throw toward the end of the garden. The fence 30 feet away is lit and the trees beyond but nowhere near as brightly as the area immediately in front. Looking back at the lamp from 30' it is very bright.Haven't had the unit long enough to know how much charge it receives on the short dull days in Nov - Jan, and if it's sufficient to power it for the long dark nights, but so far its looking good.Not cheap but still a lot less than some other models out there.The 5 metre lead is a good useful length too.Overall if feels a quality product, quite robust but just lacks a way to turn it off.

This is a solar panel and a flood light. Each unit attaches using 4 screws which were supplied. The two units link together with a 5 metre cable that comes with them, so you can position the light in a dark corner and still charge it by positioning the solar panel where it gets more sunlight.It doesn't light up in the daytime, but come dusk, if you walk within 7 metres it lights up really brightly. It's good for a garden security light, especially because it doesn't need any power leads connecting to it. The bright light is great for us walking our dog in the garden at night at it lights our entire garden. I especially liked how simple it was to install as they supplied absolutely everything needed.

It's early days as I have only just installed two of these. So far, however, they are perfect for lighting a bin area round the side of the house. There is plenty of adjustment available on the brackets supplied for both the light and the solar panel. They are good at detecting movement and when on they provide more than enough light to help you see where you are going. The lights remain on for about 30 seconds when triggered. So far the solar panels are charging well. I made sure to place them high up on the front of the house where there is plenty of sun. The lead that connects the light to the solar panel is a good length and should be more than adequate for most situations. All told, these are simple, cost effective lights and in my view represent good value for money.UPDATE 22/7/2022 I bought 2 of these, but since then they have both malfunctioned, coming on randomly at around dusk and sometimes continuing into the night until the batteries are flat. Sometimes they stay on for the advertised 30 seconds but often longer, with nothing nearby to trigger them. This was irritating for both us and our neighbours, so both have now been refunded. If my experience is any guide I cannot now recommend them.

I put this up on my shed and it worked really well to light my way in the dark. Also helped me to see when I was unlocking the padlock on the door. It only lasted 18 months though. Looks like water got into the PIR sensor and once it got dark it just stayed on until the battery ran out.

Easy to install as I just screwed it onto my wooden shed, the cable is quite long between the solar panel and the light, which could be useful but as my sensor was next to the light I didn't need it so just tucked it away. The motion sensor covers the entire area in front of the shed so if anything moves in my garden the light instantly comes on, my dog also triggers the light when he is in the garden so saves me having to switch any other lights on. I am really impressed by the brightness of the lamp, it's surprisingly bright and enables a clear view of the whole garden. If anyone comes into our garden, which is about ~30ft square, the sensor will light up the entire area.Charged up very quickly in bright sun for a few hours and even with intermittent cloud and sun has remained charged.I can't comment on how long the battery will last or how well the charging will be in winter but so far this product does exactly what it says and works very well.I am very impressed at this price.

The media could not be loaded. The unit arrived in good shape and is easy to mount, install and worked as expected. No complaints here but I wanted to use this in a shed with no access to electricity for a light, during the day or at night. After playing around a bit I found that the light will only work at night when the solar panel is not charging, and it will only work with the solar panel plug inserted into the light unit in the shed. So, I bought a basic surface mount on-off switch that was pre-wired, see the pictures. I carefully split the wire pair coming from the solar panel to the light unit. I cut only one of the two wires, not both, and secured the two cut ends to the on-off switch with small wire nuts. When the switch is in the "ON" position the solar panel can charge the batteries in the light unit. When the switch is in the "OFF" position the solar panel cannot charge the batteries BUT it also allows the motion detector and light to work during the day, see the attached video. You should notice a short delay when I switch the solar panel back "ON" and the light turns off in the video. I just have to remember to turn the switch back to "ON" when I leave the shed to allow the solar panel to charge the batteries. In the end, I have functional light with just a bit of modification.

I needed additional light at two locations outside my home. The solar lights worked perfectly and were simple to install. I really liked the long wire so I could place one of the solar panels in good sunlight. The motion sensor works as I expected.

Hier gibt es keinen Strom und wir wollten auch nicht den Aufwand betreiben, welchen zu legen.Zweck dieser Lampe ist hier Beleuchtung für vielleicht 30 Sekunden höchstens 4 oder 5 mal im Tag und zwar nachts oder im Winter, wenn es früher dunkel ist.Klar kann man mit den kleinen Gehäuse und dem kleinen Solarpanel kein Lichtwunder erwarten und darf auch nicht davon ausgehen, dass man damit über Stunden etwas beleuchten kann, aber wenn man das auch gar nicht will, sondern für höchstens eine Minute ab und zu am Tag Licht braucht, dann wird man nicht enttäuscht werden.Für diesen Zweck hat die Lampe bei mir immer genug Strom im Akku, ob Sommer oder Winter, ob gutes oder schlechtes Wetter.Der Radius des Bewegungsmelders und dessen Funktion sind so gut, dass die Leuchte über der Tür an der Decke angebracht werden kann und beim Öffnen der Tür sofort anspricht - auch bei totaler Dunkelheit.Das Licht der Lampe ist sehr hell, für meinen Zweck fast zu hell.Kabel ist ausreichend vorhanden, so dass das Solarpanel gut platziert werden kann. Einziger Nachteil für vielleicht manche Leute:Im Solarpanel ist ein Helligkeitssensor, der die Lampe nur bei Dunkelheit schaltet. Hat man also einen komplett dunklen Raum ohne Fenster zu beleuchten und das Panel hängt logischerweise draußen zu Sonne hin, dann wird die Lampe nur nach der Dämmerung funktionieren. Bei mir ist das nicht schlimm, da ich nur nachts und bei Dunkelheit Licht brauchen.Zum Akku und zur Elektrik: da das ganze quasi im Freien installiert ist, hatte ich anfangs Bedenken bzgl. Haltbarkeit vor allem der Batterie.... weiß man ja, bei extremen Temperaturen und so. Das hat sich bisher allerdings nicht bestätigt. Alles hält zuverlässig und funktioniert so wie gedacht.Einziger Kritikpunkt ist der billig wirkende, harte Kunststoff vom Gehäuse. Das sieht auf den ersten Blick nicht robust und dicht aus. Aber es hält und funktioniert, von daher alles gut.Wenn man das Gerät auf den Einsatzort und Einsatzzweck abstimmt, dann ist es perfekt.

Die Montage ist sehr einfach.Der Bewegungsmelder ist nicht einstellbar. Dieser funktioniert aber sehr gut.Das Licht ist hell genug um eine Treppe zu beleuchten.
