LOVE THIS MUSIC CONCERT DVD
Hard to believe that 2 of the 3 Gibbs brothers who appear in this concert are no longer with us. Barry, Maurice and Robin do an incredible job of taking me back to the 1970's when their unique music was such a hit. I have found that listening to AND viewing the artists as they perform is so much more appealing to me. All of their great songs are here on this DVD. Highly recommend this DVD.

their best album
If you are a fan of them, this is the best. I usually stay away from live recordings from concerts. This one seems to be created for DVD. Very little talking and lots of music. They are great.

Really Enjoyable!
I was surprised how much my wife and I loved this concert from 1997! It wasn't just hearing the old familiar hits that got to me, it was the quality and sheer quantity of their work. Even with 30 songs exhibited, I felt there were several others that I would have liked to hear also. The Bee Gees polish and talent is obvious from this performance. I had previously thought of them as typical of vocalists with lots studio musicians to fill in their limitations. Not so. It was clear that Barry Gibb had as much command over his guitar as he did his voice (and hair). Even more surprising to me was that Maurice Gibb was a multi-instrumentalist and band-leader (on stage at least).I usually comment on the audio and video quality of any concert disc since they can vary widely and even ruin the enjoyment of an otherwise great performance. In this case I was so captivated by the music and performance that my internal audio/video critic barely paid attention. But I can say that they were both good quality, as you might expect a concert and taping at the MGM in Las Vegas would be.A few final comments:- Even with a 143 minute run time, many of the songs are arranged into medleys, leaving me feeling cheated out of hearing the complete songs.- they had a fairly small backup band considering the stature of the Bee Gees. But perhaps this was understandable since this was part of a world tour, not a โone night onlyโ performance.- if you are just considering whether to buy this performance or not, I encourage you to read some of the good reviews here.- regarding the DVD vs. blu-ray debate, I bought the DVD after reading more than one comment that the Blu-ray is not high-def, just upscaled to 16:9 aspect, thereby losing video content and resolution. Also, the BD audio is not much improved over the DVD, if at all (both DTS?).- consider buying a used DVD at half the cost of a new one and one quarter the cost of the Blu-ray.- based on the reviews, this disc is much better than the "One for All Tour" disc from 1989.In summary, this may not produce many new BGs fans, but it is a fun reminder that the Bee Gees were fine song-writers and musicians.Highly recommended.

Absolutely fabulous !!!
After the first DVD came defective Amazon was fast in replacing it without any trouble. The Bee Gees gave a fantastic show from the MGM in Las Vegas. One of the best shows my husband and I have seen as we love the Bee Gees.

Great audio; video captures memories despite rough copy
Really enjoyed this for the audioโฆthe video is quite non-Blu-ray for a video.Worth the purchase, just be advised on limitations.

Checked it out from the library before purchase. Mom loves it, all their best known and some not as well known songs, continual music, live show.

Worst ever 'blu ray.'
I agree with this guy. I cannot believe only 2% have slated this. Either people have poor eyesight or mine was a rogue copy. I sent it back. What a con job, whoever commissioned the release of this title should hold their head in shame, what a great concert and what a shocking effort for a transfer, it's lazy and smacks of cashing in. No, it's no better than the DVD and the sound is the same as the DVD, to say I'm disappointed is an understatement. Now can we have a PROPER BLU RAY HD TRANSFER PLEASE if it's not too much to ask, thank you.

My friend loves it
I bought it for my best female friends birthday. She hasn't got a blue ray player yet so uses mine. It's never off when she comes to visit lol. As fast as it ends she puts it on again. I don't mind she is a lovely woman. Highly recommended for Bee Gee fans and money well spent

BeeGees
A fabulous concert! This is a DVD you will return to time after time. recorded when all three BeeGees were alive and well and in top form performing at the peak of their powers ! They sing all their hits and a few of their later catalogue such as "One" which sound as good as anything else on this excellent DVD If you like the BeeGees and their music this is a "must have" for your collection! The BeeGees always managed to sound as good live as on their actual recordings! [A fact that few other performers can live up to in my experience!]Strongly recommended! Something you will enjoy for years to come! A real bargain when you consider the number of songs and the length of the concert! Top notch stuff!

A good survey of the lesser known output of the Bee ...
A good survey of the lesser known output of the Bee Gees, arguably the most impressive composer-performers in the popular music field of the last fifty years. This is a generous presentation of what could be termed their "B grade" works, much of it melodious but somewhat repetitions and of limited appeal - for the background rather than serious listening. The obvious stand-out number being "You win again".The exception to this general view is the live concert from Melbourne. Most of this music features the material that made them famous and to an Australian audience that would have kicked-started the group's career - more years ago than this reviewer would care to mention!A valuable addition to any collection of Bee Gees albums. Well recorded and with an excellently presented case - practical and colourful.

Wish this was HD instead of SD...!!
The Bee Gees have been around forever, shooting to greater (!!???) fame when they provided music for the John Travolta's hits - "Saturday Night Fever" and "Greece".Wonderful music if that is, you enjoy listening to the Bee Gees. However, the poor video quality is the Achilles heel of this wonderful concert. In all fairness the Blu ray box clearly mentions SD, which (probably) implies that the presentation is of DVD quality. So, the presenters are not fooling anyone with this Blu ray, which is not of Blu ray quality by any standards. So, if you are looking for the Bee Gees doing what they did best - creating great music, then look no further. However, do not be disappointed by the mediocre video quality that is as good or bad, as that on any standard DVD not Blu ray quality.
