Happy within is a beautifully crafted bilingual book that celebrates your child's beauty just like they are! My family enjoyed reading this book and really love the author.

The inclusive story behind these books made it perfect for me to two purchase a second one for my son's language Immersion kindergarten. It's an important message to teach kids early to not only accept their differences, but cherish.

This book teaches kids positive affirmations to use to build self confidence and love for oneself. It is bilingual so my daughter enjoyed it in English and I read it to her in Spanish. The illustrations are fun and colorful. My daughter said “I love this book.”

Loved the book, story line, and illustrations. As a mom of mixed kids Iiving in Brooklyn, New York I love how diverse the illustrations in the book are. Loved that I can read it to my kids and they can see characters in the book that look like them. Love that the book encourages kids to love themselves as they are, and embrace all the things that makes them uniquely special.

This is such an amazing find! I am always looking for bilingual books well written, and this one takes the cake! I not only love the message, but I also love the illustrations. I love the diversity of the children represented.This will be part of my daughter's library for sure!

Such an adorable addition to our bedtime reading collection. This is one of those books I feel good about reading over & over, because the messege is so important. And my baby loves doing hugs when we get to that page- just love it.

Me and my children love this book! It’s really lovely written with great messages delivered in the perfect way for kids. I think it’s important for kids to read books with positive messages that build their confidence and how each and everyone is unique and we are all worthy. My daughter cannot wait to read it in Spanish with the grandparents. I highly recommend it!

For a First-time writer, I think this book is incredible!! As Marisa wrote her story why and when she had decided to write the book, I found the messages and little statements in it so valuable. For kids and for the parents.Teaming up with a very good illustrator and translating to 5 or 6 languages already, I hope she has the confidence and motivation to write few more books.I have bougt the Spanish and Portuguese versions for my bilingual coupled friends. My children really enjoyed this book. The characters reflect a melting pot of different cultures and races. It teaches kids that we are all different and should be confident of who we are. Happy Within is about self-esteem and confidence.My 3-year-old enjoyed the illustrations and often picks it up by herself and pretends to read it while looking at the colourful pictures.The dual-language allows bilingual parents to read to kids in both English and Spanish.I plan to get the other languages for my kids as well.

Words fail me, this book is so beautiful for many reasons. The illustrations are perfect, my children really loved the images and several messages throughout the book covering so many topics like confidence, adversity, acceptance and love. As a bilingual family we loved having both languages and will be reading this 1000 times again

Without a doubt the best diversity book currently on the market! My 3 year old son loves this books and can see himself in the characters...I especially love reading it to him as it’s such an easy read and to the point “Be Happy Within”Tolu x
