This unit never worked properly, @t 30 mph only produced 5 amps, we had a wind of 65 mph hit and the unit produced 25 amps for 15 minutes then burned out. When I shipped the unit back to Missouri Wind and Solar I was told it had burned up because of too strong of winds and therefore was no warranty. They did however offer to sell me a used replacement for almost the new price. It is possible that I just had a bad unit, but I will never know because Missouri Wind and Solar has such poor customer service.
