SOLE Active Thick Plantar Fasciitis Insoles, Men & Women - Arch Support Inserts for Foot Health and Heel Pain Relief, Orthotic Inserts - Multiple Sizes

I have tried a variety of insoles from different manufacturers but this one came highly recommended by a US veteran. After some investigation I decided to make the purchase. My original pair which I still own and use daily for work was purchased in 2019. I work as an engineering assistant and the job has me running back and forth from one end of the plant to the other. I average about 4 miles daily just walking around the plant and these insoles leave my feet feeling fine after each work day (no more aches at the end of the work day). I used my old ones up until this purchase but they have not been completely retired, they have just moved from my work shoes to my ruck boots and I use those boots whenever I'm not at work so they will still see plenty of use. I hope this company doesn't compromise their quality ever. I would gladly pay a kings ransom for insoles that let you keep walking at the end of the day over cheap ones that will force you to stop and rest your feet.

About 7 years ago I developed plantar fasciitis. These insoles were recommended to me then. After several months of using them the pain was completely gone. I have continued to use these in my everyday walk-around shoes since then. They provide excellent support. They are very sturdy and when it's time for a second new pair of shoes I can move them to the new pair. After the second pair are worn out I'll move them to shoes that I use to work in the yard. These are expensive but they last a long time and I feel I get my money's worth - the truth is that even if they only lasted for one pair of shoes I'd buy them anyway.You can get these to mold to your feet more quickly by heating them in the oven, then putting them in your shoes and walk around (there are instructions on the package). Or you can just put them in your shoes and use them and they mold to your feet - it just takes a little more time. Also, keep in mind these are pretty thick insoles and they do take up room in your shoes.

Great foundation for stability when standing and walking.

These are not worth $55 if you want my honest opinion. However...if you can get them on sale for $29.99 I say go for it. I ended up getting on the subscription plan every 3 months because I work at a factory and I'm on my feet from 10-12 hours a day. I go through insoles like nobody's business. So $28.49 is a pretty good deal for me not to have foot pain. I got the Protalus M-100 Elite at $64.99 and I wasn't too pleased over the few days I had them. They felt good at first but then the squeak squeak squeak every time I walked got annoying really quick. Plus the balls of my feet hurt so bad after wearing them. I ended up getting these in a size 12 for my size 11D boots. The size 11 SOLE insoles were too short. I don't mind cutting to get a perfect fit so that's what I did. I placed them in my boots and then threw my boots into the over at 170 which the door cracked. I was able to get a good mold and they feel amazing. My left foot is still adjusting, that's the foot I had the most issues with, but the right foot feels great. No pain whatsoever. Highly recommend.

I love these insoles because they are the highest arches I can find. No molding necessary, just toss them in the shoes and have enough arch support for high arches.

these didn't fit in my boots whatsoever. i bought the ones meant for extra wide boots, but my feet hang over the edges of them inside my boots. the wides are much too narrow for a EE width, so they're basically useless. can't even imagine how narrow the normal ones are. these are not great. if they perfectly fit your shoe, they'd probably be great but i can't imagine that any of them fit, judging by the product i bought. It was too long for the boot, which is kind of normal with insoles, but on the inside of my foot, the insole didn't go to the edge of my boot, so there's a cliff my toes are hanging off of in there. not viable at all. on the outside of my foot, the curve of the insole had far too much material and needed to be trimmed off so that i could get the insole inside my shoe. Obviously there are no guide lines or anything to help you trim, especially shaving off parts of the sides of an insole, which is pretty bizarre. i don't wear clown shoes, by the way, they're just regular old EE width red wing Pecos and every other insole fits in them pretty neatly. i don't know what's going on here. the product itself feels nice and quality, but it wasn't shaped like my shoes by a long shot and i ruined the outer edge of the right one by free handing the cut. after i did finally manage to wedge these things into my boots though, i realized that the inside edge of the insole doesn't even fill out the boot and half my biggest toes are hanging off of the HARD PLASTIC insole, which is not happening. i butchered them so bad that i just threw them in the trash. avoid spending forty dollars on these. DON'T. try something else first at least. there are so many products that were designed with your feet in mind. i don't really think these were.

I use this type of insole for a lift on the side where one leg is shorter. This insole was not as cushy as the one I prefer - balans*le. I need as cushy of a lift as possible due to arthritic foot. This one has a more constructed support fuel which I found distracting and not comfortable for my particular needs. One could probably send them back. I didn't.

I have been wearing steel toed boots in the trades for decades now, and SOLE insoles make work boots the most comfortable over any other insert I have tried; not so much with cushioning (not even with the thick style), they work wonders for arch support of my flat feet . I would advise against heating them in an oven before using for the first time, as I have always had the best success by just putting them in new boots, making them only a bit uncomfortable for part of the first day, just like a new footwear break-in period. These SOLE insoles have always lasted the life of a pair of work boots, and often beyond where they can be moved down to, say, a pair of hiking boots; a new pair of work boots always gets a new pair of SOLEs with me. The 'active thick' style are also great for EE width boots, as I once even tried them in a pair of overpriced and uncomfortable CAT boots in regular D width, where they literally wore holes thru the sides!

I purchased my first pair of SOLE Active Thick with Metatarsal Pads insoles over 2 years ago and they are still working well! I ordered the SOLE Active Thick Wide insoles this time (though Amazon seems to want to put my review under the narrower, Met Pad version) and wanted to share my initial impressions.I have a 4E width foot and typically favour KEEN boots and shoes because of their wide toe box design. Looking at the picture of the shoes you will notice that the KEEN Casual Oxford Hiker on the right side has the widest toe box of the three, wider than the KEEN Anchorage III Chelsea boot on the left, and even more so than the Clarks Morris Easy Chelsea boot in the centre.When I compare the new Wide version to the Met Pad version from 2 years ago (see other photo), the Wide is approximately 103mm across the widest part vs. only 95mm on the Met Pad version. I placed the Wide insole into the KEEN hiker (back to picture 1 again, on the right) and it seemed to be custom-made as it fit the inside of the KEEN shoe perfectly from edge to edge and heel to toe. Wearing the shoes felt very comfortable, though I haven't had them long enough to "break them in" and have them custom mould themselves to my feet through body heat and wear.One potential concern is that this Wide version does not seem to have the metatarsal pad like the ones I previously bought. I don't know if this will affect the comfort or longevity of this product but I will update over time if I notice any significant variances between the two products. For now, I am confident that this Wide version will perform much like its narrower sibling but just, well - wider. Excellent product for people like me with 4E wide feet and plantar fasciitis. Highly recommended!

I got these for new insoles in my work boots because I'm in them 10+ hours a day and the original ones wore out. After trying many cheap brands and ones from in store, I found these and decided to give them a try. By far the best insoles I've used and my feet weren't sore anymore after work. The moulding process was easy after heating them up on the oven and they formed to your feet. They're pricey but you get what you pay for
