Highly recommend
Highly recommended! Quality is great / super sturdy, and it looks beautiful! Slightly more money than I wanted to spend - but think it was 100% worth every penny! I also was 7 months pregnant and put it together myself - very easy! The only SMALL negative is a couple of the mobiles I’ve purchased haven’t fit because the top portion of the crib / bar is pretty wide. That’s nothing against the crib - just a side note!

Worth the money and time for a quality product
We received this Meadow crib as a gift off our registry. I read multiple articles and Amazon reviews prior to registering for this crib. After receiving it quickly, we opened up the package and inspected it. There were 2 minor wood blemishes on the wood from being shipped. It's real, sturdy wood, not cheap pressed wood. We contacted MBD via email (email, don't call!), got a reply in 24 hours, and they sent us out a paint marker to cover the blemishes. We received this in about 4 days after the email. Putting together the crib does take 2 people and about 40 minutes. The only issue we had is that there are only diagrams of what to do, not word for word of what screw, etc to use. So that did take some extra time to figure out. Overall, this crib is VERY comparable to the $600-$700 cribs we saw in the stores. Also, I am 5'2" and the scoop in the front makes reaching into the crib a lot easier and no need for a step stool!! The height settings well allow us to lower the mattress down as baby gets larger and more mobile.I would recommend this crib for someone looking for a very sturdy, well made crib with a bit of style.

Excellent crib made of sturdy material.
Very good crib. I bought it in June of 2016 and it is now January of 2017. it is very well made of solid / heavy material so it does not move around much if any. we got the dark java color, which is a very rich dark brown color that works with almost any room color. We have adjusted the mattress height numerous times now that our baby is nearly 1.5 yrs. Mattress height adjustment could be made easier, but it is not difficult. I was able to do it within 10 minutes without any help. If you are somewhat handy and know how to change a light bulb then you should be able to do it too :)Next step is turn this into Toddler bed and day bed in the next few months. I did not buy the bed rails, but plan to do that in the near future since this turns into a full size bed. I have done that for my older child with a different crib maker and the full size is a must if you have the room.

Overall Nice Looking Crib
We bought this crib without any Amazon reviews, because my husband and I both loved the way it looked and we found 4 5-star reviews on another site. It was pretty easy to assemble, less than an hour for my husband and myself. The box it came in was a little beat up and two of the wood pieces were damaged in multiple places. We could either return it and have it replaced or be compensated with a discount, so we chose the discount to avoid having to repackage it and return it. It is a little redder than the picture and ours does not have as much of the beautiful wood grain texture that you see in the picture. I do like how the hardware is hidden from the front view.

Perfect!
This crib is just awesome! We bought it for our son, who outgrew his pack and play. He has plenty of room to grow in it. I'm even considering getting a second one for our daughter when she arrives in November. I love everything about it, the color, the design, and it's extremely functional. It comes with the toddler bed guard which is great. I wasn't totally sure if it did or not. Assembly time was about an hour to an hour an a half. I spent hours looking for the perfect crib, and I think I've found it.Pros:* Beautiful Design and color.* Sturdy* Functional* Comes with toddler bed guard.* RoomyCons:* Took about as long to unpack as it did to assemble.* It's a bit pricey.* Came with one very small ding in the back. This crib was worth every penny. I'm very pleased with our purchase!

Pretty set and great value for the money
We ordered the Davinci crib/toddler conversion, dresser and changing topper to match.I was very hesitant when ordering this set because of the mixed reviews, but decided to try my luck.I was pleasantly surprised with the quality. No scratches or damage upon opening. Very pretty set and we are happy with this purchase.Easy to put together, simple instructions and I was able to put both items together by myself in a few hours. The crib is much easier/quicker to put together than the dresser.

Score!
We bought two of these for out twins coming in November and we absolutely LOVE them! They were simple to put together (hubby didn't even use the directions for the second bed). The boxes came in that sort of beat up look but the manufacturer packaged them really well with lots of layers of styrofoam so no damage was done. No blemishes on either bed as well - no chippy, weird paint to speak of. In fact, the finish is quite smooth, with sort of a semi-gloss (not really matte, but not shiny either). No missing hardware in our boxes, and the toddler rails were included as described. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for this style of bed.

White paint yellowed badly
This crib looked nice and assembles easily. We kept it after our first born. It was kept in clean, dry, climate controlled storage within our home. Upon re-assembly for our second baby it was noticed that several pieces had yellowed. We reached out to davinci customer service and provided them photos which they rejected saying they don't see the issue. Customer Service was very poor. These are not cheap cribs and would expect them to last for a generation or two. Stay away from their white products as they will definitely yellow. Maybe the photos don't do justice but I assure you they have significantly discolored. See the white baseboards in the background in relation to the crib parts. So disappointed davinci did not work with us on this.
