Q: Does the CH products rudder pedals physically mount to this? It doesn’t look like the pedals have pre-drilled holes.

No it does not; they provide velcro strips for CH pro pedals, which do not have mounting holes or bolts. I must say that the velcro strips are large and provide a very strong connection.

Q: Is it possible to mount a Thrustmaster racing pedal using the pre-drilled holes?

I do not believe so. This accessory is designed specifically for flight simulation pedals. When you buy the OpenWheeler Gen2 cockpit, it already comes with everything you need for a racing sim setup.

Q: Is this solid enough to mount racing pedals to?

Yes it is, I mount the Fanatec Clubsport V3 Inverted racing pedals and Thrustmaster TPR flight pedals to it; The construction is very good and solid, you can mount it as in the pictures, I however have an aluminum extrusion cockpit so I do not use the stainless steel bar that comes with it and instead I mount the black base plate directly to the cockpit’s 4080 aluminum extrusion frame and it’s rock solid, highly recommended.

Q: What are the dimensions of the mounting plate? I was thinking of ordering this and drilling holes in it to mount racing pedals flat instead of angled.

17 inches wide by 14 inches. It comes with pre drilled holes for at least three flight rudder controls. I think its about 1/8 inch thick.
