I had to return this for a refund as it ...
I had to return this for a refund as it was just way too tight on the 8mm rod I had (the rod was purchased from AliExpress). After reading many forum posts, I finally came across a statement from an OpenBuilds team member in which they stated that this anti-backlash nut was only guaranteed to fit "their" 8mm rods. I couldn't find this statement anywhere on the Amazon sales page for this product, so be aware.

Works nicely for my purposes
Works nicely for my purposes, but I didn't realize it would be made of plastic. It's a good plastic though, durable.I don't have any use for the anti backlash part, so i didn't test the screw.
