I'd have to say "yes". I massage a few drops into my hair about 30 minutes prior to taking a shower and then simply shower and shampoo as normal. It seems to add fullness to my hair and make it more controllable. I've read that some folks leave it in for hours with no issues, other than you smell like a candy cane. Seriously, you don't need but a few drops to get the full effect.
