Great purchase! Very generous set and fun for kitten!
I'm so pleased with this purchase! It came with a variety of items to entertain my kitten. I purchased for the fish, which is well made and really attracted the cat. It does not actually detect motion as you walk by it but one slight tap turns it on and it has different patterns it repeats to keep the cat curious. it cycles itself off to save the batteries. The fact that it came with the extendable fishing pole and attachable feather toys was a huge bonus! The feathers are a bit tough to get on the little loop but doable. Overall a great purchase I highly recommend.

What a fun toy but broke too soon
Our kitten loved this fishy & would bite it and bunny kick the heck out of it when it was turned on. Too bad it stopped working only after a few weeks. Had to throw away the inside part and can still use it as a soft toy but he lost interest in it altogether when it stopped flapping. He just saunters by casually without paying any attention to it now since he’s looking for something to kick & bite.

My cat doesn't like the orange fish
It may be just my cat but he does not like the orange fish. I unzipped the pouch to turn on the battery and it started moving right away by itself. The tail goes so fast that the fish keeps moving without touching it. It is also noisy. My cat gave it a once over but will not touch it and walks around it. The battery is now dead so will charge it with the usb. Maybe my cat was just being his usual I'll play with it when I am ready and will give it another chance. Good luck.

Great toy for the price.
I wanted a toy to entertain cats when I'm asleep but not waste batteries. This is rechargeable and because it stops moving when the cats walk away the charge can last for days when left on. Just don't turn it on right off the bat. Introduce the fish with the enclosed cat nip and get your cats used to it. Then turn it on. I didn't do this at first and right out of the box it freaked the cats out and they wouldn't go near it to play for quite some time.

I’m bummed
UPDATE - I must have done something wrong because I tried again and haven't had any charging issues since. My cat STILL loves this toy and plays with it all the time. Lately he's taken to laying on it and at 22 pounds, that's pretty much preventing the fish from flopping but it keeps on working.Design improvement would be to move the fins away from the zipper a bit but it's not a huge deal, just a minor frustration.I have changed my review to 5 stars and my cat says the same!Original review:I am so bummed. I fully intended to give this 5 stars and a major rave. My cat LOVES this thing! I’ve had it a few weeks and he still plays with it. He’s never maintained interest in a toy longer than a week but this thing is his favorite.Problem is the charge no longer lasts. I’m home all day and the toy is nearby me, so I know how much my cat is playing with it. I fully charged it this morning. He played with it three times today for about 5 minutes each time. Tonight it’s dead.It will go into hibernation mode if not being played with, and at first it worked great and held its charge for days. But 3 weeks later and it’s just a dead toy.Note it takes a USB cord to charge. The cord comes with, but not the plug in part of the charger.

Doesn’t really hold the charge.
This item is great for my cats. It has held up well and the cats are able to make it move on their own pretty easily. One thing I am not happy with is that I need to charge it so often. I’m not sure how long it’s supposed to hold a change, but I need to plug it in every couple of days and it’s not like the thing is played with constantly. It seems like when they do go to play with it, it doesn’t work and by the time it’s charged they have lost interest.

His New Favorite Toy!
The media could not be loaded. At first I thought this toy would be too big for my 10 week old kitten, but it ended up being his favorite toy even though it’s almost the same size as him. The fish seems pretty durable as of now. His claws can get caught in the fabric sometimes, but that doesn’t seem to affect the fabric at all. The battery didn’t take too long to charge, and it also has some different flopping patterns! I didn’t know about that until he started playing with it for awhile, and it seems to be more entertaining that way. I also didn’t know it was a motion sensor toy! This is a plus because if he decides to stop playing with it it won’t keep flopping around (the noise can be a little annoying). Overall I am very satisfied with my purchase and I recommend this toy to anyone looking for a fun new toy for their cat/kitten. Now, enjoy a video of little Meeko playing with his favorite toy! :)
