I only recently started doing jigsaw puzzles, not long enough to find them boring or repetitive. Working this puzzle I knew it was remarkable and can only imagine how delighted a true jigsaw fan w/hundreds of puzzles under their belt would be. As many others have mentioned the pieces are beautiful and the piece shapes are amazing. When we were done w/the puzzle we flipped it over and you can see each shape distinctly. Very cool! The packaging looks and feels luxurious and this would make a thoughtful, memorable gift for a jigsaw fan who appreciates beauty, quality and a unique challenge. I’m not easily impressed but I couldn’t be happier w/this purchase. It’s pricey for a jigsaw puzzle, but like a cashmere sweater it’s worth it. This is a puzzle we’ll enjoy putting together again and again.

This has to be one of the most satisfying puzzles I've ever done, and I say that as someone who once did a 10,000 piece jigsaw puzzle for fun. (I really like puzzles, okay?) This one is nowhere near that size, but the shapes of the pieces are all unique and so perfectly cut that slotting them in place is incredibly satisfying. I thought that I was going to burn through this because of the size, but the shapes and colors of the pieces actually made me slow down and appreciate it all the more. You can definitely do it in one sitting once you hit a rhythm, but the pieces really do invite you to slow down and admire them on their own. There are special pieces in the puzzle, some of which the makers were upfront about (the different animal shapes) and some of which were a surprise (the mini version--!! that was so cool to find!). Honestly, my only complaint is that there aren't more of these. I already bought the owl and the fish, and I'm sure I'll be back as soon as more become available. Really hoping a dragon makes its way into the lineup!

This puzzle is beautiful and high-quality with a lovely wooden smell (possibly cedar?). We got the medium size fox, which at less than 200 pieces was simple enough to finish with 2 people in an evening. The pieces themselves are a wonder to look at, and the thick, interesting cuts really satisfy your tactile and fine motor needs. A little trickier to figure out than your typical cardboard jigsaw, so even though there aren't many pieces it's still entertaining. Sure, it's on the expensive side for a puzzle, but this is the kind that you can take out for guests and redo again and again. The real wood is substantive and made to last! I'll definitely be getting more of these as family gifts. Enjoy!

This is not your normal puzzle, bought it for my nephews for Christmas and ended up keeping it for myself. Colors are vibrant. The pieces are shaped different than any puzzle I’ve ever worked before makes a great gift.

I bought this for a friend who is a puzzle connoisseur. It is the second one i gifted her. This puzzle sets a new bar for puzzles. it is well crafted and it is endlessly creative. The design, the pieces, the pictures with in the picture, are amazing. The amazing attention to detail that was given in every aspect of it's creation is astounding. Each time we do this puzzle (and we keep taking it apart and doing i again :-) ) we learn more about it.

Challenging enough and beautiful, the box itself could be better because does not have something like a lock to keep it close.

I'm an artist, a woodworker, and a total puzzle geek. I recently purchased the 'Fox'.The packaging: the box it's stored in is a piece of art in itself. It's elegant, and stylish, and will look wonderful displayed on our bookshelves.The puzzle: every single piece is an absolute work of art. They are intricate pieces with thought put into each and every detail. The colorful front is gorgeous, and truly stunning to see completed.But, after seeing the workmanship and details on the backs, I took it apart and spent the day putting it together upside down.WOW!! I was blown away at the hidden images and scenery on the 'simple' backside of the puzzle.I am definitely purchasing another. And, will probably splurge to get the rest, at some point.These puzzles are works of art and worth working on again and again.

I ordered the 333 piece (king size) fox puzzle for myself for Christmas 2023. I finally had the chance to put it together (May 2024), and it took concentration that I have never had to give to a puzzle. The only guide that comes with it is the wood box cover. The outer edges are outlined in bold dark lines, no other distinction. It is indeed wood, and the picture is printed over it. Certain individual pieces have additional designs cut into them to add detail.One of the star flowers on the right side of the fox is a daisy shape. Some of the special shapes are put together using more than one piece. The signature of the company is incaseed in a circle made of puzzle pieces just below the center of the puzzle.After putting it together, I don't want to put it back in the box. I am not one to glue a puzzle together after putting it together once, this one is an exception.
