Breaking Emotional Addiction: Neurohacking Borderline Personality Disorder with Ibogaine

Short, succinct, and promising.
This little (36 page) book is well worth reading for anyone looking for ultra-bleeding edge treatments for the traditionally "near-impossible to treat" Borderline Personality Disorder. Anyone who has known a BPD sufferer knows the agony of the disorder and knows it is very difficult to treat, but the author's miraculous massive reduction in symptoms after ingesting Ibogaine offers hope that this mysterious plant traditionally used to treat drug addiction might also be a near-miracle for those suffering from disorders like BPD and PTSD.My hope is that the author continues to develop her protocol. I'd be interested in a follow up: were the effects permanent or was a subsequent re-dosing necessary? What's the appropriate psychotherapeutic protocol to be used in conjunction with this treatment? Could symptoms be kept in check by microdosing with Ibogaine after the initial "flood dose?"Again, this is ultra-bleeding edge material and my guess is that we are at least a decade out from any serious research being done on these topics, but it does give a lot of hope and as far as I'm aware, this is the first book to come out on the subject.

One of the Best Books I've Read on Transforming Trauma with Psychedelics
I am an integration coach and have worked with hundreds of people, helping them understand and transform their trauma using psychedelics. This is the best personal account I've ever read of a person healing past trauma through a plant medicine. It is informative and so tremendously personal, I found much of my own experience through the author's writing. If I have one critique, it would be that I want more. This is an excellent resource to share with others looking for healing through plant medicines. Wonderful, quick read and very insightful and just lovely.

Exceptional.
Read in one sitting. The author's description of foundation and integration as parts of the psychedelic experience will be of special value to those intersted in psychedelic healing.

A fascinating account of recovering the lost self
The author does an admirable job at the difficult task of describing a very personal emotional healing journey by blending journal entries, a narrative of her altered experience, and retrospection about the experience. The way she was able to get to the root of her traumas is an example of how fascinating the symbology of the unconscious is! This is a quick read but one that left me thinking about it for a long time afterward.

A Brilliant Personal Account of Healing
A must read for anyone suffering from BPD. The author shares her cyclical brain patterning ‘ neuropathway wiring’ after several deep traumas. The many rich epiphanies on her path to integration reveals that BPD is not a life sentence, and that ‘you are the genie in the bottle’ finding your way home to embodied self acceptance.

Hard to read at first, but glad I stuck with it
Initially I found it hard to follow the story as written, but I'm glad that I continued to read. It's a really great story about someone who was able to pretty much "cure" themselves from BPD via ibogaine. I had no idea ibogaine could be used in this context. So thanks to the author for sharing this :-)

Could have been a blog post
First, I do appreciate you spreading the word about Iboga and the potential available with this medicine. So thank you.Second, as a blog post, good article. As a book, it's missing a lot of information. Was really looking more for the how. You briefly mention the tools you used in your Iboga journey to work with Greta, your inner child to find healing. What were they specifically that helped you break your emotional addiction? I didn't learn anything from this book unfortunately and ended feeling disappointed :/
