So happy I found this!

Easy
It worked well, I change out the nuts to lock nuts to keep them from loosing. You need to keep the log 8’ or shorter to have enough rail extending beyond to get you mill simeoto hang on.

It works
I just started milling my own timber and needed something to ensure the first cut is level. This works exactly as advertised. Easy to setup and easy to use. I'm very happy with this product.

Not for smaller logs
It was easy to assemble. The material is quality metal. The first time I used it on a 12 inch log, the whole thing would rock, even with the dogs hammered in for stability. You have to make a deep first cut (over 3 inches) other wise the dogs and adjustment screws will be too deep and the chain will hit them (depending on the surface curve of the smaller logs). The adjustment screws have to be deep enough that they are below the guide rail or the saw mill hits them and stops. The adjustment screws vibrate out, and then its not level and you have to stop, back out the saw and level the whole thing again.I am now investing in the guide rail system because it needs no adjustment screws and you get more wood out of smaller logs

Parts missing
I got the 12’ rail but can only use 9’ because of missing parts. The brackets to attach the last 2 rails are missing.

Watch the leveling screws backing off due to vibration
I really like this product. For not have using one before, it sets up easily, and was simple to use. Built well. Very solid.
