Hope to never use
Product seems good. Hope to never use. Purchased for aircraft over water flights. Not Coast Guard approved so no light and I don't think a whistle.

Solid Value
Sooo... I like inflatable jackets generally as a compact PFD solution on my 15’ boat. Easy and relatively comfortable to wear, and not bulky when either on or in storage. At half the price point of similar vests from chain outdoor stores these certainly don’t give up half the features. I haven’t tried on the big $$$ name brand vests, but the only differences seem to be longer narrower chest tubes that might be less bulky, and a bit of fleece padding at the neck on the top dollar competitors.Haven’t popped the CO2, but regular valve inflation (as recommended to test) worked fine.Great deal!

Life jacket safety in an unobtrusive device
Well designed life jacket. I use mine for safety when fishing off-shore. The size doesn’t interfere with my movement on the boat and I don’t even notice I’m wearing it!

This is the Manual model
There is both a manual pull to auto inflate, and an automatic model that inflates when it gets wet. This is the model that you have to pull the string. There are pros and cons to each, decide which you want before purchasing.I wore out it canoeing this weekend, and it it MUCH nicer to wear then a bulky foam filled model. Several times I forgot I was wearing it.There is an option to inflate it by blowing into a mouth piece, the whistle is there next to the blow into tube. I filled it by blowing to test, and it deflated again nicely and folded back up and velcroed closed again fine.I wish I had got one of these years ago.

0 Stars for Safety
Very light weight. Safety precautions*If a person has medical conditions like verdigo, light headedness, seizures etc.Keep in mind the cord has to be pulledTo blow up the vest.If going thru one of those conditions and falling off the boat while fishing I don't think they will be able to Pull the cord. Give up comfort for safety. Use the ole style foam 🦺.

Size just right
This life jacket is exactly what I expected from reading the description. I bought it for sailing and kayaking so I didn’t want a bulky vest that would get in my way. This fit the bill. My only concern was that is is a little heavier than I imagined it would be. But I think it’s perfect for my use.
