My kid loves to draw and was having done issues with the human body so I figured this would be the perfect book to help, and it did!

I wish they had books like this when I was a kid! I've been to school for art and animation and am confident the method she uses in this book, as well as the portrait book, are solid and will help kids level up their drawing skills. She goes in depth, but not over the heads of kids, with anatomy, proportions, life drawing, blocking in a subject, perspective, etc. I'm so excited to gift these books to my daughter this Christmas.

My son loved to draw and he really has stepped his game up in drawing comic book heroes. I would recommend this as a birthday or Christmas gift for a kid who likes to draw.

3.5 stars. Throughout the book there is hardly any representation of anyone not white... this is especially evident in the portrait (adding a face) section where there are no black people at all.
