For the scale a quite accurate looking kit with plenty of potential for upgrading its looks
Revell kits have improved to a much higher standard than where they used to be. I bought this to make for my son-in-law as a surprise. It will be made to look as much as possible like the one from the TV series (and Star Wars films it appeared in) The Book of Boba Fett. He is a big fan of Star Wars related 'things.' I will enjoy making this for him.I have not begun to make this yet but hope to have it ready for him before the end of this month, March 25. The kit is very detailed and looks accurate. The size of 1:88 means this is quite big. On the basis of first looking at this kit I decided to buy another one, it is so good, this time for myself.

A work of art from revell
I have to say, this model is exquisite. The details are amazing and the two dimensions of the card look 3d because of the correct shading of the images. All joins have been well planned underneath the facade so nothing shows. So much thought and detail has gone into the final appearance. The execution is where a found a few issues. The instructions don't make it easy as you assemble the West facade first before the base which I think is a mistake because it would be better to begin assembly with the base and build the facade on top. Because revell did it this way, it's a nightmare to get the facade on the base once the sections are complete because of all the slots to get in which does take a bit of force which obviously risks damaging the card. The second issue I has was with the double sided tape for the windows. For the life of me, I could not separate the tape from the paper. I have up and glued the windows in.The third issue I had was that some of the windows required a trim because they would not sit flush in the frame as they jutted out below the wall piece which would have meant a poor fitting floor section. The last issue I found was on the thinner sections such as the ends of arches, would require force to get through slots causing them to bend which was annoying.Once your prepared for this, the model goes together very well and is very stirdy. You end up with an eye catching piece and with lights is just incredible. It has a few short comings in regards to assembly but not on completion as it really makes the moaning of assembly very trivial indeed. It is definitely worth the money and time. It takes approximately 15 hours to assemble.Wonderful product from revell and a work of art in completion.

What an amazing model
So far I've put together the West Front block of the cathedral. All fits together perfectly, as long as you follow the instructions meticulously, studying the illustrations. Some of the clear plastic rows of stained/painted glass windows don't line up perfectly over the window frames, but this is easily remedied by cutting them out individually or smaller groups. Don't forget to peel off the protective sheet from the side facing outwards (the side with the part number printed facing you the right way round).Other than that it's so far been a measure to build! For the price of the kit there's a lot included (I was surprised how heavy the parcel was when it arrived) and is exceptionally good value.

Enter the Dragon........ Hmmm Maybe?
Got this kit today and I can confirm it is a reboxed Dragon kit. However, if this is the standard of all Dragon kits I cannot justify the price Dragon charge for their kits. There are much better manufacturers around today, namely Trumpeter, Eduard, Tamiya and Aoshima to name a few, though some don't often make many large 1/32nd scale kits. The Bf110 kit is big at a smidge over half a metre wingspan.Apart from the size its just a bog standard kit, no photoetch and no rubber tyres unlike other manufacturers supply in their expensive kits and yes, I consider this kit expensive for what it is.The detail is good, but then I'm no expert on Luftwaffe details so can't really say if it looks authentic. It also has only two paint schemes.I see there's an Eduard BigSin detail kit but it costs more than the kit itself.I also have to mention the paint job in the listing photos, its bloody terrible. You'd think they'd have done a better job to advertise such an expensive kit.Would make an impressive model with a proper paint job.By the way Revell, the box is way too big, the kit fits in half the box, though the finished model would actually fit in the box no problem. In summary: Average kit for the price. If it was nearer £35-£40 then maybe it would be worth buying.I like big kits and this kit is massive but I wouldn't call it amazing. No Dragon or Cartograph decals either, just Revells own, designed by AirDOC, printed in Italy.I've given it a fairly poor rating because of the expense for what is a basic, if massive kit.
