Incredible detective game that really gets you thinking and makes you feel like an actual detective. Generally easy to medium level of getting the general facts, the final solution is harder to attain and we didn't manage it, but that's fine as it was all very well thought out.One for the puzzle / detective orientated, first timers may struggle but I wouldn't say impossible. Played well with 2, I could see it working with up to 4 due to the anmount of material. It's single use if you write on anything in pen, if you use pencil you can rub it out and pass it on to a friend.Overall a great quality game worth every penny.

I rarely write reviews for products, but so good was this game that I felt compelled to do so.We enjoy escape room games and odd murder mystery party, so we thought we fancy trying something in between the two. I noticed that this German game had been receiving favourable reviews so I took the punt. The rest: simply outstanding. Clearly a product of creative endeavour, the game provides hours of fun. The story was immersive, the materials authentic and of notable high quality, and the game experience unparalleled. Quite simply the very best out there at the moment.The imagination taken to create different character arcs and then to produce materials so that game players can access to link together the various aspects of the story to solve the crime was admirable. Plenty of twists and turns along the way.My opinion: don’t buy a murder mystery game when you can get this.

No spoilers:At first it seems quite overwhelming due to the sheer amount of information you're presented with and no real order to anything. It didn't take too long to start to piece things together though and in the end even though we did hit one problem it was still a couple of hours of fun and quite satisfying piecing things together.The problem we hit was that once we'd narrowed it down to 3 possible suspects, there didn't seem to be any way to rule out 2 of them. You know they were at a certain location at a certain time but there's no way of knowing where that location is in relation to the incident you're investigating (we scoured every map and couldn't find it, but maybe we missed something). So you don't know if there would have been time for them to go and commit the crime or not. Again, maybe we missed something, but I did find someone else complaining about this exact issue on a board game forum.Other than that though, it was good. Maybe a little on the expensive side considering it only took us about 2 hours. Probably will buy another one next xmas though just for the novelty factor.

Can’t fault this at all.We took park in weekly game nights via Skype with family (and a LOT of alcohol).When it was our next turn we noticed how the others had started almost competing at who could come up with the best game, and well... I’m competitive so bought this!We bought some case file sleeves and I DIY’d them up to make them look like Legit.I printed all materials off and then went and made deliveries to the doorsteps of those taking part (were all within 5 minutes of eachother for any Karen’s that want to get on me about unnecessary travel)The game went BRILLIANT!!! I’d say make sure you set it aside for a time you have a good few hours to do it. We took about 5-6 hours, maybe the alcohol played a part?... but either way absolutely brilliant! Everyone was having fun shouting out bits and pieces, we dove in head first which was a bit of a shock to the system, but however you choose to do it you will enjoy it.Don’t umm and argh about it, just get it and find out for yourself.

We really enjoy escape room and murder mystery games. This game was brilliant. From the outset, the presentation of the materials is fantastic, with high quality, well thought out pieces of evidence. There’s plenty of material to go through, and lots of little details for keen eyes to pick up. There is a checklist of items to cross-check before you begin, to make sure you have everything you need. Would recommend having a highlighter pen handy and make notes as you go. I may be wrong, but I get the impression the makers of this game do actually have experience and knowledge of the law. The final sum up ending once you have chosen your murderer is very well written in ‘legal-speak’ to explain what would and wouldn’t stand up in court etc and clears up anything you may have missed. After a couple of bottles of wine, we had a deep sense of pride in successfully finding the correct murderer. Can’t wait for the next instalments of this series.

I love thing like this hence why i bought it and honestly it was so much fun to play instructions for hints could be a little clearer but apart from that amazing!

This is a great concept, well put together and good fun. You get a lot of evidence in the box and have to work out who the suspects are and if they have an alibi etc. You can also use the internet to help you. E.g. Google and Facebook etc.The hints page is excellent. I saw a review that said it just gives you the answers. Maybe it did then but it doesn’t now. It will give you a number of different clues (that you have to type in the password to get so you can click them by mistake) and then the answer for each bit of evidence. So if you want a clue but not the answer then you can do that.Highly recommend and have already ordered the 2nd case.

Me and my husband will buy these for a date night, cheaper than going out for a meal.Very realistic and fun, would recommend to anyone that finds an interest in crime
