100% cotton...yes. I press mine and fold so all match with stripes. The set looks beautiful. If you want no wrinkles use paper napkins...LOL!

They are not scented. I washed them before using them and have washed them several times since getting them. They hold up well.

these are not kitchen towels and they do not have a button. They are napkins, like cloth napkins at a restaurant used at the table. They wouldn't be very good as kitchen towels but when we switched from using paper napkins and I bought several different kinds of cloth napkins, these are by far my favorite I purchased. They work great for their purpose and fold nicely so I can keep them in a holder on the kitchen island for easy access and look neat.
