Amazing product and service!
Great price, great quality and great customer service! It arrived way sooner than expected! I've had it installed in my stratocaster and I love the sound this circuit produces along with the guitar single coil pickups. If you are hesitant, just do it, you won't regret it.

Great value and easy installation
Purchased this kit for a Hendrix inspired build. This is my first time building a strat and assembling the electronics, so I was a bit nervous at first. Turned out that the installation was quite straightforward with the included wiring diagram (also did couple googling to figure out grounding). Couple things to notice:1. The diagram doesn’t show wires connecting all 3 pots for grounding, because generally the conductive film on pickguard serves the same. The instruction does call this out with small font so just be aware.2. Not sure if it was because the output jack was sticking out too far or something, but I accidentally grounded the jack since it was touching the conductive tape I installed inside the output jack cavity. Had to lay another layer of electrical tape in the cavity to fix it, so do check if this is the case if there’s no sound coming out after wiring everything up.3. I applied some gorilla wood glue at end of cotton wires to achieve a clean look and avoid fraying. Learned this trick online and it worked like a charm!

Good but not quite great
Installed this set along with some Wilkinson pickups in an older Squier strat (43mm body). Everything went fine, I followed both the provided instructions and a set from the Seymour Duncan website. My only complaint is the pots feel cheap. They work just fine but they don’t feel very quality, they feel as bad or worse than the Squier mini pots from 2008 I took out. I did not install the treble bleed. Hopefully everything holds up.

Perfect
I used this kit to gut and upgrade a Squier Standard Stratocaster with some new pickups. Everything in the kit was top quality and the diagram was more than sufficient for standard wiring. The inclusion of both regular insulated wire and push-back cloth insulated wire had me trying the cloth insulation for the first time ever. It was awesome. Very easy to deal with and I didn't have to worry about melting/overheating the plastic insulation. There was no diagram for the treble bleed. They should include this on the diagram as an optional bit. I didn't want to use it, but I googled and was able to find out how to hook it up just in case pretty easily.Installation notes:1. The squier standard has a full 1 3/4" body thickness so the 5-way switch depth wasn't an issue.2. I also purchased a separate kit to replace the plastic bits like the 5-way switch knob and tone/volume knobs because I figured the old bits wouldn't fit the new beefier hardware.3. Potentiometer shafts are bigger than the old ones. I just used a 3/8" drill bit to enlarge the existing holes in my pickguard and they fit perfectly.4. The 5-way switch has non-countersunk screws (This is probably standard for the better switches). If there are countersunk screws in your existing switch/pickguard - just use those. They should fit without issue.

Massive upgrade to import Strats but will not fit old pickguard and knobs.
It never ceases to amaze me what a difference it makes upgrading the pots and switch in an import guitar can make.MIM Fender Strats come with microscopically small 500k Ohm pots, which makes the pickups sound like ice picks. This kit comes with 250k Ohm pots, which is what usually matches low output single coil pickups the best. The wiring diagram has you solder the bridge pickup to the middle tone control, which was another welcome upgrade to my 1990 MIM Strat.Keep in mind if you're upgrading an import guitar, the pot shafts are bigger than stock, so you will have to use a reamer or a round file to enlarge the holes. A little slop is fine because you'll never see it under the knob. Just don't make the hole way too big. Otherwise buy a new pickguard. The stock screws for the old 5-way switch fit the new one just fine for me. Your old knobs and switch tip will also not fit here. Stewmac sells knobs that fit fine and course splined pots though.I don't know if it's just different with 250k Ohm vs 500k Ohm, a different wiring scheme, or the new capacitor, but I don't notice the treble roll-off on the volume knob as much with this kit vs stock. It does come with a treble bleed mod but I didn't end up using it.

IT works very well as expected, little pricey, but I guess you pay for what you get. Very cood product

Great kit for upgrading an import Squire Strat or other strat copy.
I used this kit to upgrade/refurbish an old made in Korea Squire Strat. The kit was easy to install with some minor drilling to enlarge the holes on the pick guard for the pots. Even for a novice like me the soldering was easy and the provided wiring diagram was easy to follow. The vintage style cloth covered wires, full size 250k pots, CRL switch, and Switch Craft jack are a huge upgrade from the cheap crap that was in there. Along with a Graphtech Tusq XL nut and a pickup magnet swap (I pulled out the ceramic bar magnets and steel pole pieces and replaced them with alnico 5 pole pieces), this cheap old guitar sounds amazing now, and I haven’t even done a set up yet.*Just a side note, to most this is a no brainer but for the sake of those who are not too familiar with different pickup types: If you are used to playing with humbuckers and have your amp set up accordingly, your Strat is likely to sound off after this upgrade. Took me some time to figure out that it wasn't the gear at all that was the problem, it was my amp settings
