I will say up front that this disc very easy to throw accurately
As a human responsible for entertaining my canine friend, I will say up front that this disc very easy to throw accurately, and it flies better than the heavier JAWZ discs. My dog catches this one about 98% of the time, vs. 80% on the heavier discs (mostly the fault of the thrower). My dog is a lab/gsp mix, and she has a softer bite than many dogs, so I understand this review may not be for everyone. If you are trying to train a frisbee dog that has not been bred to return game birds in un-bitten condition, you might want to start with one of the more durable models offered by Hyperflite, they are all awesome in their own way (see below). This disc has held up very well for us despite a LOT of heavy use. Like an hour or more per day. for several months... There are plenty of visible bite marks, but it still flies as well as it did the day it was delivered, and we use it as a combination toy and water bowl when backpacking. This remains our go-to frisbee. We've also spent a lot of time throwing and catching the heavier-duty blue and purple JAWZ discs; both are awesome, very high quality, and clearly more durable (they show no wear after hundreds of catches); but they are also heavier, more expensive, and a little harder to throw accurately. In general, I have been happy with the Hyperflite range of products and highly recommend them, you just need to try a few different models to find out what works best for you and your dog.If you are just getting into training your frisbee dog, and moving up from the crappy fabric frisbees they sell at the the chain pet stores, the "standard" is a great place to start. If you find that your dog is biting through this one, try one of the JAWZ discs, they are also awesome but take a little more practice to throw accurately.Hope this helps!

Best dog frisbees!
My dog and I love these frisbees. She learned to catch with this model and is now catching them in the air on almost every throw. The plastic is soft and will eventually wear out. That's a good thing -- it has to be easy on their teeth. We buy several and play with them in pairs (reduces tug games). Each pair lasts for months of daily frisbee play. If you let your dog chew on them they'll only last a day, so save them for retrieving.

Flew great the first couple of throws
Punctured and warped within the first 15 minutes. Flew great the first couple of throws. This is a good frisbee for the kids to play with in the backyard. Definetely too weak for dogs.

Color is subject to change
This frisbee is great quality for playing frisbee with your frisbee loving doggo, but I should have been more careful about reading the description... the color shown (I wanted the hot pink shown) did not arrive, we received an orange one (not even shown in the list as a possibility). The frisbee itself she will LOVE. But I wish it was pink... she already has orange, white, and yellow ones. :/ Soft but firm, no hard splintering/crackable plastic here. Perfect for what we need. Just wish it was pink.

Flies great but doesn't last long
I have a budding disc dog. She learned to catch discs after taking a class with Denise Herman and now we are both HOOKED. I had started her on the Booda Softbite Floppy Disc. It was a great starter and still holds up well - it was perfect to use while she was in the process of learning this game. We have competition plans so I converted her over to the Hyperflite one month ago.My initial impression was great. This disc flies great, really, really smooth. It seems to actually hang in the air and it feels solid in my hand. It actually improves my throws and is a huge step up in flight quality from the floppy disc.I cannot give this 5 stars because the plastic is sooo soft the disc is practically wrecked. The entire outer edge is riddled with teeth marks - and not from chewing, just from CATCHING. My discs get put away after use (I have a fetch-obsessed pup so all fetch toys need to be out of sight when not ready to be engaged with) so this is not from recreational chewing. I would have expected the disc to last longer than a month! For comparison info, my dog is 32 lbs and an Italian Greyhound/Weimaraner mix. Not a heavy chewer but super enthusiastic about fetch. We will be trying a harder disc next to try and extend the life of this sport for both her enjoyment and my wallet's sake.

Great buy
Favorite frisbees. They last the longest for my dog who loves to play frisbee, and all other brands seem to be destroyed in minutes. These ones last months, and even with all the teeth marks they still fly pretty well. I have bought them multiple times because I like them so much. And they're cheap!

play frisbee with me
This frisbee is a nice size, but the plastic is too soft for my dogs teeth. His teeth goes right through it. Ruined the frisbee on day 1.

Great dog frisbee for the price!
For the price this disc work very well. I have taken my lab out a couple of times and it is scratched up a little but minimal bit Mark's and flys great! I will be buying a pack of these for training!

Disc much smaller than advertised.
Disc much smaller than advertised.Totally different flight. barely decent for throwing under 10ft, so understable it flips right over. Not shipping back on my own cost.. buyer beware if you expect a full size disk.
