Bought this for my son as he spends a lot of time gaming and programming/coding as his desk. It’s protecting the carpet and also allowing better movement of the chair. It’s nice and sturdy so holds the weight of both him and the chair well. Also easily movable big grips on the carpet well not moving around with the movement of the chair, and because it’s wipeable when he’s not following my ‘no eating in his room with cream carpets’ rule it makes me feel slightly better about the carpet also being protected from food and spills. The size is perfect for his chair when in use and tucked in. He’s had this a couple of months and it’s not showing any noticeable damage. Good buy. Arrived quickly too

Mainly positives - item arrived flat, not rolled up, so it doesn't require flattening. It seems to be very strong and robust. It doesn't slip or drift across the carpet due to little 'spikes' that keep it in place. My chair moves around on it easily, but with enough grip so it doesn't 'over slide'. It's a good size too. So why 4 stars and not 5? At £41 I feel it's a bit pricey for what is essentially a sheet of plastic, they must be making a massive mark up. So 5 stars for quality, 4 stars for value. After 6 weeks of daily use it's still going strong, no signs of deterioration. If the product deteriorates over time I will revise my review.

I bought this a few months ago to protect my carpet by my desk now I work from home. It does the job well. It is clear plastic so you see the colour of the carpet underneath and has loads of small cones on the udnerside which means it does not move once placed. The points of the cones do mean you have to be a bit careful adjusting its position but you shouldn't need to do that once you have it down right. There has been no yellowing of the plastic over the months it has been down in my flat. Given I weigh over 140kg (over 20 stone old money) and sit on a standard, 5 wheel office chair each wheel is putting a lot of weight down on to a very small area and there is absolutely no sign of cracking or permanent distortion at all. The lack of cracking includes those times I have rolled my chair over the edge of the mat by mistake. The edges held up very well indeed. Happy to recommend this product.

Bought this to replace a very poorly performing chair mat that did not live up to its product description. The previous one, bought from another Amazon supplier, came rolled up not flat and, apart from taking time to settle, which made an unnecessary trip hazard, did not allow free movement of my office chair. Within days, the old mat had depressions where the castors of the office chair sank into the material, which was entirely unsuitable for the job. By contrast, this mat came flat already, is still flexible but is firm in use and allows free movement of my office chair. Fully fit for purpose and although I cannot yet offer an opinion on the durability of the mat, the material used in construction is similar to that of a previous mat that lasted 6 years, so fingers crossed! Finally, a piece of advice, 1. Do not by a chair mat that is delivered rolled up - these are most likely imports from the far East and, from my experience with two of these previously, do not perform at all well. 2. While the ones being advertised as being made in the EU ( in some cases Germany), don't waste your time ordering from suppliers who cannot give a specific delivery date. Two previous orders, which were likely to fulfill my requirements, had to be cancelled after nearly a week of 'pending delivery date' messages. This supplier has UK stocks and delivered in 48 hours via DPD, with their one hour the slot notification system. First class service from a UK supplier. Recommended.

We replaced some carpets, and wanted to protect the new from damage caused by the wheels on a chair at the computer desk. This mat is first class; it is heavy duty, stays put, is hardly noticeable and was delivered packed flat in a box, so there were no curling edges. I would strongly recommend it if you need to stop a chair damaging carpeting.

Disappointed with this. Looks and feels durable on arrival. looked well on the carpet and the chair rolled really easily on it. Noticed a small crack within 48 hours of putting it down. After that, it just started to crack all over. It's now full of small cracks. The material is just too rigid, so too much pressure on it, especially as we have a half-decent thick carpet underneath. May be ok on a wood / tiled floor? Would not recommend for carpeted floor. No option to provide pictures for a refund, just return the item, which was more hassle than it was worth, and probably an intended barrier to stop/ put off anyone getting a refund.

This product has lasted nearly four and has a done a great job of proctecting the carpet. Unfortunately it has started cracking and falling apart. - I've not had an issues with the mat slipping or moving. - My chair glides over the mat very easily. - Easy to clean.

A great mat that I bought to protect my carpet. However, whenever I go to sit on my office chair, the smooth surface sends the chair flying back. A few near misses from me. Its now a door mat for my garden office and does it job very well for that too!

Ich war sehr positiv überrascht von der Bodenschutzmatte. Sie ist speziell für Bürostühle auf Teppich gedacht. Die Matte ist sehr stabil, die Rollen sinken kein bisschen ein, so dass der Bürostuhl sehr gut rollen kann. Durch die Noppen ist die Matte absolut rutschfest, was ich eigentlich kaum für möglich gehalten habe. Hinzu kommt, dass sie wirklich geruchsarm ist. Ich kann die Matte wärmstens empfehlen.

Die Bodenschutzmatte ist für Teppichböden bis 6 mm sehr gut geeignet. Die Kunststoffspitzen bieten einen guten Halt, ohne den Teppich zu beschädigen. Durchsichtigkeit ist gut, jedoch fallen je nach Blickwinkel die Kunststoffspitzen auf. Die Matte habe ich seit Dezember 2023 täglich in Gebrauch und es sind keine Kratzer erkennbar. Kann man nur weiter empfehlen.

Der Artikel ist sehr schön. Ist Ausreichend Rutschhemmend auf dem Teppich. Rollen lassen sich gut bewegen.
