I got this kayak upgrading from the Pescador 12. The mesh seat makes an immense difference! This kayak is maneuverable, relatively light and very cool looking. Tons of customization options. Overall a great fishing kayak!

Wow, great kayak. I'm 6' 3" 275 lbs and sit pretty nice on this. Haven't tried standing, someone smaller might have more courage.. LolStorage is nice. Even a cup holder I quickly sat a beer in =) Got a bunch of Yakattack and Scotty accessories that make this even nicer. Seat is amazing.

This is my first kayak so I'm not really able to do any kind of in-depth, pro/con review. I decided on the Pescador 12 Pro because it has all the features I wanted in a fishing kayak and a great price. I've taken it out on the Maumee River, inland lakes, and even Lake Erie on a calm day. The molded rod holders are very bad at holding rods, but perfect for adding your own custom motor bracket. I made mine out of PVC and a treated 2x4. I attached the PVC to the 2x4 with a U bolt and a straight bolt, then I attached rod holders to the motor bracket. I weigh about 180 and the batteries, bracket and 30 trolling motors weigh about 100 lbs. Even with 10-20 lbs of additional gear, I'm still well below the 375 lb capacity. The second trolling motor is really just for fun, I've gotten it up to 15 mph going downstream on a calm day.

I've been out in this a few times now. Let me start by saying that this is the first kayak I have owned. It seems to track well and is very stable.

Kayak great, but shippping was terrible. 1st one arrived damaged. Second one damaged too and drain plug missing. Didn't get it out to remove accessories to notice damage and ride until weather turned nice. Giant 4" gouge in the bow. Now don't know if Amazon will take back after 60 days.
