An absolutely mouthwatering tribute to the Achilles heel of my taste buds
Chocolate is the Achilles heel for my taste buds. Having already owned several America Test Kitchen cookbooks, and being really satisfied with them, I looked no further than here for my definitive source of chocolate-centric recipes. All kinds of recipes are featured here across 300 pages, from childhood favorites and DIY confections to gorgeous desserts ideal to show off and share on special occasions. The back pages showing how to make special sauces and frostings is a cherry on top. The cookbook layout is beautiful, with easy to follow recipes contained in one page and abundant high quality photos that make my mouth water. Highly recommended for fellow chocolate aficionados who want to do more with it than just buy candies from the store.

For chocolate lovers
This book has everything, from cake, to cookies, to candy and everything else in-between. It even has some vegan recipes. This is just a celebration of everything of everything chocolate. Can't wait to try these recipes.

Nice addition to the lineup
I bought this because I have been so pleased with everything I've made from The Perfect Cookie/Cake/Pie recipe books from ATC. This is just as nice, though it has less recipes and some are repeats from the other three books I already have. ATC recipes are easy to follow and come with plenty of tips and at least one picture of every recipe, so in general I love their cookbooks. I also appreciate that the ATC cookbooks I have are all about the same size, so they're aesthetically pleasing on a shelf, too.

I don't own many cookbooks in printed form. I have mainly ebooks, but this is a book worth owning.
The nutritional section I greatly appreciated, every cookbook should have this. I was skeptical of it being an authentic cookbook produced by ATK because of other reviews, but after doing some research, I found the company that published it has a link to this Amazon cookbook posting if your looking for it on Amazon to buy instead. It has the correct amount of pages. I perfer having a cookbook that explains why recipes work with great results. That way I don't spend my time and money on recipes not tasting the way they should. I tried the cake š© and Fudgy brownies. I added the recommened chocolate, bittersweet and unsweetened. Soooooo good! This is a GREAT COOKBOOK worth buying if you love chocolate š«. I usually don't trust reviews that receive free items in exchange for a review, because I feel they can be biased. But I decided I try it and yea you guessed right I loved it.

Delicious- Needs more variety
This is a wonderful book. ATK always delivers. There are pictures of every recipe. I made the chocolate pound cake on p.149. It's a food processor cake and it's not to sweet, but the next time I make it I will add some walnuts on top. It came together very quickly and easily. Instead of using a large loaf pan i cooked in mini loafs. I added chocolate chips on top of the version I made. What I would have liked, is more cake recipes and recipes also in grams . But at least they offered ounces. I think a section on "white chocolate" would have been nice as well. So I do think the book could have offered a little more than it did. But overall I'm very pleased with the book.
