worth to by Made in Germany
High price for a peeler? Not when you want quality. This Made in Germany kitchen tool is worth every penny. Solid handling, very sharp even after years and easy to use. Over time we tried several other "brand names" because Westmark is/was not always available. This one beats all the others.

Best peeler for decades!
Despite the reviews that this peeler is for lefties - it is not. It is used by pulling the tool towards you not away. My mom bought one of these in Germany in the ‘60’s and still uses it today. I love mine!!

Smooth peeling, but shows rust already.
Love the peeler, have been using westmark product for many, many years. But it is starting to rust where the swivel blade is attached to the handle. I have an old one, about 20 odd years old and yes it shows a few rust spots, but nothing like the new one.

Bought one on vacation in Belgium. Needed a second one for my cabin. Best peeler I've ever had and I have bought many and thrown them out.

I have been using this type of peeler for about 40 years and have just recently replaced some other inefficient peelers in our holiday lets with the Westmark peeler.If you want to be able to peel an apple with one continuous peel and quickly, this peeler is a must.

Right handers only
Unlike a lot of peelers this one is NOT reversible so if you are left handed like me leave it alone!
