I've had acne prone skin as an adult.As a teen I thought if I dodged the acne bullet then I was clear for life. Not so as in my late 20's and early 30's I too fell victim.The acne is mostly gone with an occasional deep blemish.It took me a long time to find a primer that didn't clog pores. I don't think it dried out my skin, but to be fair I use Eucerin redness relief lotion prior to applying.The primer seems to make my scars less sharp. I work under harsh fluorescents and the last thing I want is them to ruin my makeup. They're so unflattering.I look better all together. I didn't find it or the lotion greasy. I attribute that to regular skin that is dry due to washing. Then the Eurecin which really works. The lotion calms the redness, relieves the dry over washed feeling with no greasy feeling, I can immediately put on this primer and I feel my makeup is much smoother and I feel pretty again despite my new age of 40.I like things simple. I did find application slower. You have to build your foundation slowly, but overall worth the few extra minutes.Unable to find a shade in neutrogena (it's an expensive search with almost too many options and I'm color blind) But the Almay Clear brand goes on fairly well, but has less shade options.I think in my opinion I am rather pleased with all the products Neutrogena offers for acne prone skin. Now if I could find the right shade I'd buy their foundation and powder. I may like both brands, but favored the way Neutrogena blends and covers.Neutrogena is very nice. I wrote them of my problem. Unfortunately they didn't make any samples but several $3.00 off coupons were included in the reply.Overall I think this is the best primer option for sensitive skin, with the best results, and is the least irritating to your skin compared to all drugstore primers.From Neutrogena' s description I agree with:"Neutrogena Healthy Skin® Primer instantly evens and brightens skin, and optical modifiers help minimize the look of imperfections all day.""helps to even the look of skin for 8 hours with or without makeup.""The silky, lightweight formula helps makeup apply more smoothly and last longer. I love that it isn't greasy or oily, but it didn't seem to make much of a difference in shine over the course of the day. It helped my makeup stay on a little longer than without using it.

Though I use very little make up, this primer keeps it longer than usual.

This is one of my favorite products by Neutrogena. I never really realized how important a “PRIMER” really was until I was gifted a sample about 3 years ago. If you are like me and have oddly large pores, acne scarring and differences I conpelxion, this product will definitely even things out. You’ll notice your liquid/powder makeups go on far more smoothly and you’ll have to use less cover-up on those individual uneven spots.

Great product! We all need to slather on the SPF. This is very light feeling. No color, just a beige that blends with any skin. Almost like putting on a lotion. It also makes my foundation/powder last longer throughout the day. A tube also lasts a couple months, which is nice! And a great price! I now always have one open and a backup in the drawer. Take care of your skin, ladies!

I have worn this for 4 or 5 years now and believe in the product. Mat finish, not oily, very light weight. I have adult acne and this lotion does not make face condition any worse. I will continue to purchase.

This sits beautifully under makeup and doesn’t clog pores. Very lightweight and doesn’t dry skin out. Love this stuff.
