The best polyurethane I've used! Easy cleanup!
I absolutely love it! I've NEVER used a water base polyurethane b4, WOW, is it GREAT! I played around day I got it, coating some of my older furniture, then stuff I thought might benefit from it. It ALL did!! I bought it for one of those DIY "paper bag" floors. The wood grain tool isn't due for two days (doing the wood plank look -paper torn into strips). But I am wicked impatient, so we're doing a trial one today on my kitchen floor. It's SO EASY to clean up, just rinse! I'm gonna also try a mix of white paint & this polyurethane. It's supposed to 'not to hardly at all' yellow (according to the reviews, & a reason I chose it.). Can't wait, & they're not gonna be worse than they look now! LoL. My home burnt in 2013, & I was given a donated trailer, missing front door ,etc (It ready for the dump- b4 donation- but I APPRECIATED it very much.!) Anyways it's in VERY rough shape & I'm trying hard to make it into a home. This paper bag floors idea, & a few other DIY projects will hopefully make it a home for us (Me, my grandson-(starting adoption) & my new husband (old friend of 35 yrs) he was previously a contractor, & recently suffered a brain hemorrhage, so it's kinda on to me 😀.I'm so thrilled with this polyurethane, I can't really express it in words. Sounds dumb, but it's gonna make this place finally a home. Thank you for such a great product! The cleanup is amazing! The ability to try unique projects to look great& save $$ is also amazing! I will buy again as soon as I get up the $$! I recommend it to ABSOLUTELY ANYONE 4 ANY PROJECT!#One note, the can came very badly dented. Luckily none appeared to leak out. Not taking away a star, it's TOO AWESOME! 😊🙃😊♥️🍀 And assuming it's the fault of shipping.

Easy Application and Cleanup, Scratch Resistant, and Nice Shine
I use this on bare wood, painted wood, and acrylic paintings. So far, I'm very satisfied with it. Seems like they thin it out a bit, compared with the pint and quart sizes. But that's ok as it flattens out quicker. Dries fast to a nice shine. Delivery was good and on time.

Great poly
Used this to clear over epoxy on my concrete counters. Finish result is exactly as advertised. Used HVLP gun to shoot my poly. Way way easier than brushing. No brush marks and consistent thickness. Product looks almost exactly like sweetened condensed milk in the can and when applied will stay that color till dry. And it does dry to a crystal clear finish. Not as high gloss as I would have like but not enough to take way a star. Superb product. Definitely recommend to anyone needing a clear poly finish

Not bad for water based
I'm more of a high voc solvent kinda guy...that being said I figured it's Varathane...how bad could it be? Well...It goes on like brushing water. It raises the grain easily...so you're not getting away without sanding the first coat. After all that it works pretty nice...although...Pretty thin on the solids. Durability should be okay...but I'll know later. I wouldn't be using it on a boat, but interior stuff should be okay, as intended. Odour was non existent after it "flashed" off. Even though it's water based ventilation is required. I would use it again for interior projects (I bought a gallon!). They make a 3X version (higher solids)..which I bough a quart of and haven't used yet (so the tops of the shelves I made wouldn't require so many more coats...already being first coated with this stuff to seal). I wish they offered that in gallons, but they don't! Why that is escapes me...but..oh well!

Refinishing Hardwood Floors
We sanded the oak floors, restained and put 2 coats of this Varathane Polyurethane finish. It went on easily and the floors look beautiful!

Looks great with no mess
Super easy to clean up. My brushes all still look brand new just wash with water. Very hard finish with great shine. Only poly I will ever use from now on.

A little thinner than quart cans
I use it on tumblers. It is thinner that what I get in the quart cans. So not sure if it is going to work the same.

Durable
This polyurethane was about $25 more expensive at Lowe’s than on here. I ordered a couple gallons to use over live edge tables. It goes on nice and smooth. I did about 8 coats to give my tables a high gloss. After I was done I washed my brushes out with soap and water and they were good as new. This polyurethane is as durable as oil based and doesn’t yellow after time or give off strong fumes while working with it
