Collective Minds Switch-Up - Nintendo Switch

After seeing an online review of this product I searched for it with the previous knowledge of knowing it's capabilities. The reviewer I watched tried multiple functions that this device provides, and did mention that they had issues with some, or other didn't work. Personally I purchased it mostly for the Pokemon benefits with farming eggs and such. I can say so far every function I have used with Pokemon Shield has worked as described and I have not been disappointed. For $25 I'm surprised that it does all it does for such a cheap price, but I am definitely not complaining! Since I just got a Nintendo Switch I have yet to pick up a secondary controller mostly due to the price of the JoyCon. This device can serve as a controller dongle so you can attach a PS4 or Xbox controller to it to use with the Switch. Obviously you don't have the motion abilities that the JoyCon or Pro controller have, but if you already have a controller laying around from a PS3 or Xbox 360 laying around as an extra controller, then it's not a bad device to have when wanting to play with additional people. I haven't tried connecting multiple controllers to it yet, but that is a function I plan on trying before I have a couple people over for the next night of Mario Kart.Now personally I'm just speaking from experience with the Pokemon functions on this device and the couple Animal Crossing functions, so if you plan to pick it up for Zelda, Super Mario Odyssey, or Fortnite, then you may want to watch some reviews first to ensure those functions work, but even if they don't it does have that secondary controller function. Personally I enjoy the PS4 controller so I've been enjoying be able to play games with that over the less comfortable JoyCon that came with the system.

The media could not be loaded. I have to say this product is incredible.. Having a large collection of other gaming machines I have collected a lot of controllers, Xbox 360, Wii U, PS3, PS4 and XB1. Since owning this amazing adapter I have been able to connect and use everyone of these flawlessly... I also want to call out a couple of things that are better than the 8Bitdo and Mayflash adapters.... rumble translation and motion controllers..... They actually work... Which makes me think the negative reviews posted here are not legit. The company has video tutorials on their website showing how to connect every controller to the device which makes it easy for those who don't like to read manuals.***Now for the impossible. Beat any Boss on Mario Odyssey***. ( the main reason why I bought this device because I simply didn't believe it).. Well its True and kinda creepy that it actually works.. There are a few painful bosses to beat and while I like the challenge, it's just amazing to watch a device do it for you.. they use an old school code system using the d-pad so makes it super easy.. (I made a few videos to show it off).. All of the coin collectors worked, as did the Moon generator.. So fun!!!!I didn't spend a lot of Time with the Zelda BOTW mods but the ones I used seemed to work.Another big plus is the fact live chat is available in the website to answer questions were super helpful as I had overlooked something obvious.Great product!! Look forward to future updates!!!

This thing is straight up junk! Once updated and plugged in and following all instructions it still wouldn’t change to Zelda mode. Tried multiple compatible controllers both wired and wireless along with other trouble shooting suggestions all with no successes.I really wanted to enjoy this product but it’s my guess that Nintendo patched this device into obsoletion and the seller is just trying to make a fast buck and clearing inventory off unaware gamers.

I've been keeping an eye out for deals on a Pro controller for some time now and then I saw a video about this thing being able to breed Pokemon while completely AFK. So I decided to get two birds with one stone and buy this and I can use my DS4 controller on my Switch (you are able to connect many 1st party controllers from Xbox, Nintendo and PlayStation), and I am really enjoying it.When I first got it I went to their official website to download the manual, and after a little bit of reading I updated the firmware on it and got familiarized with some of the "mods" (which are really nicely set up macros). So far it works like a dream.Ever since I got my hands on this thing I've been pumping out shiny Pokemon while I do other stuff, since my last shiny hunt I did for myself took me 2,020 eggs and several days of mundane and tiresome playing. By the last day of that hunt I was literally seeing the hatching cutscene in my dreams.It also has mods for shiny hunting fossil Pokemon, farming watts, turbo A button for the digging Bros, and many more. It also features mods for Breath of the Wild, Super Mario Odyssey and Fortnite but I have yet to test any of them.
