A must buy for camping!
This QuickStove is the best thing ever! It should be part of every camper's stash and every survivalist should acquire it.Recently went camping for 5 days and we used it so much. Everything from heating up coffee in the AM to making full on meals on it. The cook part folds up like a cube, is solid enough to hold a 10" cast iron skillet and can be configured to accommodate various sized items. The cook part fits nicely inside the pot with lid - the lid folds over the whole deal like a cute, little package. It came with a couple of cedar waxed fuel disks which are also pretty great in their own right. But you can also use various other forms of fuel with the cook part. The pot with lid, we also used quite a bit. It is sturdy in design, takes the heat, is easy to clean - and again, since it holds the cook part and is more or less self contained, it means you have to carry less stuff. This setup might be too heavy for a weight conscious back packer to carry, but everyone else should buy it.LOVE THIS THING!

Great little camp stove
I purchased this for car camping. Wanted something compact and simple - didn't want to fool around with bottled fuel. Wanted a stove that boiled water quickly for coffee, tea and dehydrated (MRE style) meal pouches. Purchased extra compacted fuel discs to go with it. Worked GREAT, boiled 2 cups of water in less than 10 minutes. Easy for store when not in use, easy to clean. Make sure the surface it is placed on is level. I found 1/2 disc of fuel was plenty for morning coffee or heating enough water for a meal pouch. For single camping it beats lugging a big BBQ or propane system.

Only 4 stars because it’s heavy. 5 Stars if it were just a bit lighter.
This is a great design. The stove actually has 3 positions for different sized pots. It’s well constructed and built like a tank so, it’s a bit on the heavy side. I want to give the whole package 5 Stars, I really do.The pot is also very nice. The lid fits both ways so it’s also a small double boiler. You’ll need some sort of handle in order to use the lid as a small frying pan but it makes a nice plate/ shallow bowl. The stove (with 2 cedar fuel rounds) nests inside and the pot handle latches(?) it all in place.***They even included a 2.4 oz package of Wise Chili Macaroni. I’ve never tried any Wise products so I’m looking forward to this. Nice touch giving me a meal. Thank you

Great product
I was looking for an emergency stove and the QuickStove fit the bill perfectly. The kits 8s great. The pot is a good size and very well made. I like that the QuickStove and fuel packs neatly fit inside. The stove works great and is adaptable for various size pots. It’s veru usual that it can accommodate fuel packs and alcohol burners. I haven’t tried to burn sticks it it yet, but so far I’m really liking this product. Well done and reasonably priced.

Great Quality Camp Stove
I love the many different ways this stove can be used. It's very versatile in terms of the configurations and the types of fuel that can be used. It's a bit heavy to backpack with, but as a camp stove it's a great size.

Able to use a variety of fuels
The stove itself is a larger version of the Esbit type stoves. It opens a little wider than the usual small folding stoves, but will also adjust to a smaller opening to accommodate smaller pans, or cups. I've used solid fuel pellets, a Trangia alcohol stove, and a one inch copper pipe cap filled with alcohol, to cook meals, or boil water. All of these fuels provided good cooking results. I would suppose you could also burn bio-fuels like twigs or leaves, although I haven't tried that yet. The pan that comes with the stove is a great size, and with its lid on, boils water, and cooks food very efficiently. The kit also included a hockey puck shaped wood and wax fuel pellet. I haven't used this yet, but it looks like if cut into quarters, each quarter would cook a meal. There was also a sample food packet of dehydrated food. I haven't tried that either, because I just put it into my emergency bug out bag, to use later, if necessary. All in all, this is a great cooking kit, and I would heartily recommend it for camping, power failures, or as part of a car emergency kit. I live in Southern California, so I could be trapped on the freeway if we ever have the big earthquake we're over due for. I remember pictures of the last quake where cars were trapped on overpasses, and I take comfort in the fact that if that happens to me, at least I can cook a meal while waiting for rescue.

I was in love with the idea of it...
I've had this stove for a year and a half, and I've decided to revise my initial impulsive review.First of all this item is really heavy for its size, and I find that it's not worth lugging around, anywhere, for any reason. The listing advertises that you can burn sticks as fuel, but after repeated failed attempts to do this efficiently, my conclusion is that there isn't enough ventilation to keep a stick fire going. I find I'm better off digging a small pit and making a small fire on the ground. It does work alright with the discs it comes with, but I'd rather not have to repeatedly buy those expensive things just to cook a meal. If they'd advertised it differently, told the truth about what you need to use as fuel I'd have a different opinion, but I also wouldn't have bought it in the first place.Ultimately it ended up being an expensive piece of metal wasting space in my closet. I'd hate to write such a harsh review but I'm very disappointed overall.

OK quality kit. Very, very heavy to carry ...
OK quality kit. Very, very heavy to carry on an overnight trip and the stove is not rust proof at all. I upgraded to something more compact, easier to clean and lighter.
