SO FLIPPING PRETTY
YES, this is a true blue tea! I let it steep for about 8 minutes and the color is vibrant. Add a squeeze of lime or lemon and it really does turn purple! The flavor does taste like peas but it's barely there if you add the citrus and simple syrup.

Awesome
I'm a heavy tea drinker and this tea is super interesting. I kept hearing about how great this tea is for you and the color changing magic it does and had to try it. It does go from a bright blue to a purple with the lemon which you will definitely need if you want any sort of flavor. As good for you as this tea is, it has zero flavor. Tastes just like lemon water.

It's a fun tea to make
It's fun to watch the water turn purple, the teas itself dosnt have much of a flavor, you are better off adding some lemon into it to add some extra taste.

Great for color changing cocktails!
As a bartender I am always looking to try something different and this is an awesome product. I make a cup of this tea and mix it with a cup of sugar to make a butterfly pea flower simple syrup. I use it in my "magic margaritas" by adding an oz of the simple and 2 oz of tequila into a rocks glass and in a sidecar I add lemon and lime juice as well as triple sec. Take it to the table and it makes for a wonderful tableside presentation turning from deep blue to bright pink with a simple pour and stir! Magical!!! It reacts with anything acidic to make for a neat color changing effect.

Zero flavor
Only thing it’s good for is to turn your water blue. No flavor at all….

Have noticed a calming effect
Not sure if it's the fact that it's a very pretty blue (scientifically proven to induce a calming effect in people based on several studies) or if the tea itself has a calming effect, but it has definitely helped me deal with a recent increase in stressors. You can get up to 6-8 cups out of it as long as you remember to store the tea bag in the fridge. I have a tiny mason jar I keep it in. Heat water to a lukewarm temperature, just slightly cooler than your skin temp (85-90F) and leave the tea to steep for 1-3 mins. I like mine a little on the warmer side with a teaspoon of lavender syrup, but you can have it without any additions. It tastes like a green tea or a mint tea, but without the bitterness.

Wonderful and fun
The flowers are ph indicators, so the tea is blue until you add acid. The more acid you add the more it turns from blue to purple to pink. My family LOVES it iced with sugar and lime juice. The flavor is very delicate and is also good hot with milk and sugar. If yours is not blue when you brew it you have slightly acidic water. My son and I think it has a very slight blueberry taste. When you add more than 2 top to a cup it tastes closer to cotton candy. We all love it, and it's fun for guests to add their own lime or lemon and see the different colors.
