Schecter Rocks
There were several cool things about this guitar which attracted me to it:1. Sustainiac pickup -- I had played one before but did not own anything with it. It is like having an ebow built-in except better -- because it does not require your right hand to hold an extra device, it permits sustaining any string of your choice and it has 3 choices of what octave to resonate.2. Floyd Rose locking trem -- I own 2 other guitars with FR but none of my Schecters. This, too, is a great feature. I love FR!3. Maple neck -- I own many Schecters but none with maple necks -- so this is very nice and cool.Plus it's a Schecter so it is well-made, made-to-last and reliable. I am very pleased!

misaligned neck
The guitar I received had a misaligned neck and was very difficult to set straight. The frets were in bad shape, I could not lower the action down to acceptable levels. I would stay away from from and spend a little more money on a better made instrument.

What is it worth upgrading a garbage tremolo out of the box if it's the wrong raduis?
From the description and the photos this seemed like a perfect guitar for me. Until I started to play the thing. The action on this guitar is horrible and it simply cannot be fixed on any model. This is because Schecter in their infinite wisdom have decided to put a 12 inch radius locking nut and a 12 inch radius locking tremolo on a guitar that has a 14 inch radius neck and then gave the tremolo all the upgrades. This is essentially like adding a super charger to a 4 cylinder. The Floyd Rose tremolo only comes in two radii 12 inch and 10 inch from the factory. You will never be able to have great action on a guitar without of these two radii unless you want to do a lot of math and file the underside of the middle four saddles down or add crappy shims underneath the outer four. After working on and playing Floyd Rose equipped guitars for 10 years I can definitively say that the zinc base plate of a Floyd Rose special WILL NEVER STAY IN TUNE IF IT IS FLOATING. Not to mention that the tremolo posts had all the paint rubbed off from the factory by adjusting the action under string tension. WHICH IS A BIG NO NO. Anyone who has ever dealt with a Floyd Rose and actually knows what they're doing will tell you that. The biggest question here is why not put the Gotoh Floyd Rose on here from the factory? It is on par if not better than the steel original Floyd Rose. It is a 14 inch radius at the nut and bridge and comes with a brass big block out of the box and would actually cost the company less to build. What a missied opportunity. You wouldn't buy a new car with candles for headlights. So don't buy this.
