Extraordinary
These pencils are very nice. They're vibrant in their colors & the lead is soft & easy to use. Would recommend adding to your collection.

Decent for the price point, experienced artists may prefer other brands though.
I sought out a different brand because the first oil based colored pencils i got went up in price. I found these, saw they were what i originally spent, and figured i would give them a go. A few things worth noting: none of the pencils are labeled- so youre picking colors based solely off of the pencil color itself and its lead that you can see. Not the easiest when trying to compare colors and shades, very easy to get confused. I do like how the trays are, easy to pull out and easy to put back as well. The pencils themselves can either be sharpened, or appear as if they tried to sharpen, but gave up. Also none of the ones i have tried to sharpen myself go in the sharpener correctly- meaning whatever they used to sharpen initially needs to either be replaced or calibrated better. I shouldnt be cracking the lead because the pencil literally cannot be seated in the sharpener correctly. That mistake alone costs valuable pencil color im sure every artist actually wants to use. Theyre not bad, but it may be worth spending a few more bucks to get the little details right- properly sharpened, labeled, consistent. Overall i wont be returning them, but i do think the other set will be gone before i rely on this set. Unrelated note worth mention: the metal case is honestly amazing. If nothing else even after the pencils are used up, ill be keeping that case. Its just too freggin good.

Really smooth
I really like that I am a beginner to using oil based colored pencils, and these were really smooth and easy to use. I love the variety of colors but I also like the way that the colors blend. I feel like this is a really good starter set of oil based colored pencils.

Sharpening the pencils breaks off into the wood coverings
Sometimes the color is too thick, lumpy, not smooth. When sharpening the leads break way into the wood cover so waste alot in just to get the pencils sharpened no matter how little the point is.

Lead warning on back of tin, lead content is not included in description
I love how well they work. However, there is a warning on the back if the tin that says they contain Lead or Lead compounds, and to keep away from children. Isn't Lead highly toxic? Shouldn't this be listed in the description?!?

Everything You Want, Except...
Everything is perfect. I bought it for my girlfriend to use on her coloring books. She loves it. The colors are beautiful and they color smoothly. The only downside is there are no color labels of any sort on them. If it weren't for that, I'd give it 5 stars

Good value but inconsistent quality and less variety than you think
If you want what looks like a lot of colors in a case, these will do the job... The oil-based leads are soft and glide nicely. Although some pencils produced rich and pigmented colors, overall, the color pay-off isn't good and many looked almost identical on paper. I never did find a true red. Of the four pencils that looked "red," the closest was a pinky coral. The rest were orange. With 72 pencils, you'd think you'd be able to get everything you need. For me, this will just end up being a backup set of pencils.
