Jaybird Sidekick Ruler, Clear

So my first impression was, this ruler wasn't necessary. I mean, it had handy guides for cutting diamonds out of 2-1/2" strips but I could get by with other products I had. Nevertheless, I proceeded with this ruler on cutting diamonds for a Jaybird pattern called "Nourish". After ripping out a bunch of stitches I realized I was supposed to cut the diamonds, then flip them 90 degees and cut off the tips. Once I did that, it was like the clouds parted and the angels sang. My rows went together perfectly and the lone star pattern came together like a dream. It has now become one of my prized rulers. I'm about to embark on "Journey to Nebula" with Julie Herman, who is a gifted quilter and a genuinely nice person. Buy with confidence!

Very easy to use and accurate cuts

I just hope I remember what patterns I bought it to make. Specialty rulers to make certain quilts. The Seller would be sweet to remind me.

This is a great tool for diamonds and triangles. Easy to use, 3 different sizes. Absolutely love it.

It can be a little challenging to cut with at first making sure to rotate the right way but it's a great ruler I love it. Made two rock candy table toppers in one day using thos handy ruler I love it.

This is a quality ruler. I bought the wrong size and had to return it, but I’ve always recommended Jaybird rulers.

What a great little ruler for easy diamonds!! I use sewing marking tape right near (next too without touching them) the lines I need so I don't line it up wrong. I made the Rock Candy Table Topper with it and I know I'll use it for more patterns now. The simple instructions with pictures are perfect.

Although I already owned the Super Sidekick ruler, I am happy that I purchased this smaller version. It is very easy to use on small pieces and the markings make it foolproof.
