Best bluing product I've ever used. Much easier to use with a nicer finish.

Cold blueing with brownell's oxfro
I have done 3 22cal rifles so far ranging in age from 85 years to 54 years old. All have came out excellent, the coverage was a dark uniform color and was easy to apply. I did slightly heat the barrel with heat gun and burnished with 0000 steel wool between coats.

Good touch up product. A tip. Heat the metal to be touched up first. I got better results. Might be the best " Cold Blue " product I have used..

Easy to use
The product work good.I touched up a few areas of my carry pistol that the holster had warn through the bluing.Not an exact match but it looks better.

Very effective for blackening machined parts.
This stuff works amazingly. Very even coating. I have even soaked parts in the bottle. After a few parts the liquid can get a bit murky. Just run it through a coffee filter and it will be clear blue again.

This is good gun blueing. Works well. I used 0000 steel wool to apply it to the gun and it produced a deep even blue finish.

What it is............
Since I just got the bottle last night....I've not had a chance to make good use of it. But, so far, it is intact...arrived safely. I looks as it should. I'm eager to use it soon.
