K2 Skate Women's Athena Inline Skates

I hadn't skated in years but wanted to get back into it because it's fun and a great workout. Where I live there are not many sporting good stores and the few stores around here have only one or two kinds of inline skates which are either very cheap quality or not comfortable at all.I was a bit hesitant to order skates online since I couldn't try them on and I wasn't sure what size i should get.After reading all the reviews, I decided to give these skates a try and I was happy to find out that they offered half sizes. So I ordered 8.5. (My normal shoe size is somewhere between 8 and 9)Two days later I got my skates and they fit perfectly, are super comfy and don't hurt at all (unlike the ones I tried on in the stores). I am super happy and in love with my skates and for the following two months I skated 4 miles almost every single day. Unfortunately it started to snow, so now I have to wait until spring, but I cannot wait to go skating again.These skates were definitely a great investment and I highly recommend them! :)

These ride smooth and fast. I bought them for fitness purposes, and they've exceeded my expectations. I ordered my usual tennis shoe size, and they fit perfectly. As an aside, it had been years since I roller-bladed and fell on my butt the first time in these because I was unaware of the speed/smoothness. Still appropriate for entry level skating, just be careful if you're not used to legit roller-blades!

I played hockey as a kid, and I also skated 20-30 miles a week on chip and seal roads. I wanted to burn calories while working my quads to help keep my lousy knees moving correctly, and these have done the trick! Bravo!! First pair had a defective strap that wouldn't stay latched. I sent the seller (Summit Online) an email, and got an immediate replacement at no charge. I've been going 12-15 miles a week for the past 4 months, and they are FABULOUS. I've had to rotate the wheels twice because they're too soft for part of my subdivision, and now I need to upgrade to something harder. You'll know if you need to rotate your wheels if you feel like your ankles are bowing out when you stand still in your skates. My last pair of rollerblades were CCMs that I got for my birthday 21 years ago, and I'm hoping these K2s last that long!

Really love these skates. Super impressed with the quality and they ride so smooth. My only regret is, I wear a 7 1/2 to and 8 in women's shoes and I should have bought the 8 instead. My toe touches the front of the boot. I still wear them often and enjoy very much getting out with my family. I would HIGHLY recommend these to anyone... just watch the shipping charges with seller.

The skate seemed to be of high quality and skated smooth and fast, but the boot was so uncomfortable they had to be returned, even though they fit her feet just fine. The top part of the boot dug into her leg. Be aware if you use these outside even once, you may experience difficulty returning them.

I like having the laces so that I can adjust the fit of the skates. So far all my skating has been on the streets of my neighborhood, which has somewhat rough pavement, and I haven't had any trouble with them. They coast very well, too; I was able to coast around two corners and one side of my block just to test.

Bought these for me, so that I can blade with my daughter, and I just love them. They are so comfortable and it makes skating in blade an enjoyment.Great support for my ankle, plenty of cushion. True to its size.

Purchased for my twelve your old granddaughter for Christmas. She is an accomplished bladder and was very pleased with the comfort and ease as well as the speed. She is a recreational skater on city pavement and at rinks.
