Tea Forte Amber Rock Sugar for Tea and Coffee, Pure Cane Sugar Crystals, 2 Pound Bag

I bought these out of plain old curiousity, after reading reviews.. This is just a solid form of sugar, with a slight taste of molasses.. makes my tea taste even better than plain white sugar. Tea must be boiling hot in order to melt the sugar. Definitely won't spend the money on them again, I'll just stick with regular sugar since these don't really change the taste THAT dramatically. Sweet is sweet. Sugar is sugar.

Usually used the regular kind big sugar and decided to give this a try and it has been amazing. Taste great and easy to store, goes perfect with my hot teas!

I bought this a couple of years ago at the advice of a dear friend raised in Ireland. We both adore Irish breakfast tea (Barry's) and like a little sweetener in it. It is the perfect sweetener for hot tea, and a half teaspoon is plenty for me. I put it in the bottom of an 18 oz mug - along with 2 Barry's tea bags - and pour the hot water in. After a 5-minute steep, the crystals are melted, I add about an ounce of milk, and all is right with the world.

I like the fact that in hot liquids it breaks down slowly.

The rocks are different colors of red to tan. Different sizes. It is very good in quality teas. I have not tried it in any other drinks or deserts as of yet. I am planning on trying this in a cream brûlée. Will update if it doesn’t work well. The taste is very good!

I love rock sugar for my hot tea and this brand is really nice. It dissolves pretty quickly and the best part, the sweetener doesn't overwhelm the tea flavor, like honey or table sugar does. The tea flavor shines through and you still get a lovely sweetness. Perfection, and the price is great.

I love drinking tea. I wanted something sweet for my sugar but I didn’t want the regular sugar. This was a great option. My tea tastes really good with this rock sugar and they dissolve easily.

The perfect amount of sweetness. It has almost a caramel flavor and tastes so good I used less for coffee and tea. Will definitely order again.

This is the original product. Beet sugar ! Others are imitations (cane sugar) or worse, with colorant !For hot breavages ... and making your beer !

I use this product in London Fog creation and in my herbal teas. Much better flavour when you are using expensive teas!
