Perfect, quality slicer

So far, I have only used the soft cheese knife. They are strongly constructed, the handles have a very nice feel. The brie does not get stuck on the blade and the knife is very comfortable to use. I am very happy with the knives and I feel I got the quality I paid for.

This product has been a game changer in the kitchen. This was originally bought as a gift for my dad, but I think I use it more than he does lol. First of all our old cheese slicer had to be older than my dad. The actual cutting part was extremely dull and the handle had fallen off years ago, so you had to grip a small piece of metal that stuck out. When I first used this new one, I felt like I was floating! The material is heavy duty, and the handle is sturdy. The blade is sharp with little grooves to make the cut as smooth as can be. Plus, the whole thing look very sleek. Now when I go to cut cheese, it is without the dread of how hard it will be! I enjoy cutting cheese with this cheese slicer!

I like it but Really wished is was made in USA. I don’t think it’s worth the price. It is easy to clean.

I kept using my old cheese slicer - who knows why. 🙄 But I finally gave up on it and bought this one, mainly because of the blade design.Wow. I should have thrown the old one out long ago. Slices like a dream and the blade design keeps the cheese from sticking to it.Easier to clean too. 👍

I like my cheese sliced THINLY, but since moving to the US from Europe I couldn't find one of these cheese slicers I grew up with sold anywhere in stores. This version is awesome, it's all metal so it does well in the dishwasher. The diamond pattern does take a little extra work to clean, but is entirely worth it for the way the cheese doesn't get stuck or buckle as it's coming out of the slicer. One movement and your thinly sliced cheese just glides right off! It's perfect.

This comte knife is more than just a cheese knife. It is a chopped herb, and salad knife as well. Very comfortable to use, and easy to clean. Seller is very prompt in shipping item as well.

This is a great slicer, works perfectly with little effort needed to create nice, even, thin slices, without sticking. In that respect I'm very pleased with this cheese slicer. Great choice I thought, so I treated myself for Christmas!However, I'm very surprised to discover that in such a short space of time, and really with very little use, a rust spot has developed. Yes its a tiny spot and doesn't affect its slicing ability but that's hardly the point. This is an expensive item for what it is, there are many cheaper versions but I thought that it would be worth investing in something a little better quality. Rust spots only get worse, never better. And I wouldn't have expected it from this highly regarded brand. So if you buy one, check it thoroughly!!!ETASadly after only limited, irregular use, the cheese slicer was accidently dropped onto the tiled floor of the kitchen. I was shocked to discover the slicer was now in 2 halves and how badly and flimsily it was constructed. The 'head' merely slots into the handle in a tiny slot (look carefully at the image) and is secured by a small blob of glue or welding. I'm not sure which, but definitely is not the strong, efficient slicer that it appears, and for all that money!!! I returned to Amazon for a refund and haven't yet replaced, but next time I'll just get a cheap one because this is a total waste of money.

I saw reviews for this item and on the strenght of those went ahead and purchased.Although it does glide easily I found that it dould not cut a uniform slice of cheddar, I ended up with slices that were a little wavy and when you got to the end of the slice did not have a neat finish to the slicing process, instead it took a ragged chunk which was not at all what I wanted or expected.That may be down to my not using it correctly so I cannot really be too hard on the product, however I ordered this item as Prime delivery and it duly arrived next day, on returning however, I had to return to Slovakia and the return instructions stated that I needed to pay postage and that this would only be refunded if the product was faulty.I am at a complete loss as to how I can be being asked to return an item to Slovakia when it was clearly delivered from the UK and as a Prime item expected the return postage to be covered.I would say to be very sure that this is a product you are certain you want before ordering.

I’ve bought cheap versions of this and they have never been any good. Decided to pay up and get the best. It works very well and it gives nice thin slices of cheese. It’s extremely sharp so take care when washing it.

I have had a few cheese slices with varying result. This is definitely one of the best.Very sturdy construction, sharp blade and low friction surface make for an excellent cheese slice.Easy to use and gives consistent cheese slices.
