I reviewed the heck out of swim masks before purchasing one, so technically I have no direct comparison. Having said that, I am completely satisfied with my purchase. I purchased these in July 2015 and they are still going strong in April 2016 after many uses. They fit my 5.5 yr old perfectly (purchased when 4), don't leak, don't leave a red mark, rarely fog, are lightweight and block the nose (a strong plus for a beginning swimmer); overall a quality item with no complaints from my daughter about leaking or plastic cutting into her face. The strap on the back is split in the middle, so you can put a strap high and low on the back of the head to ensure a good fit. I can see us getting 3, maybe 4 years out of these. Pay a little more for a high quality item, and this is coming from the queen of cheap-o.

The strap on my 9 year old's pair of Speedo Dive goggles broke and we decided to give these a shot. They fit her face perfectly and look much better than the Speedos. She also said they were much easier to put on and more comfortable.However, they fail in two crucial areas:1. She complained of them being foggy/blurry under water, as opposed to the Speedos being crystal clear.2. After the very first use today, they were thrown in the pool bag upon leaving the pool and one of the lenses was instantly scratched.I was hoping there'd be a clear film on the lens that contributed to both problems, but nope. These have instantly been demoted to Goggles of Last Resort.

My 6 yr old had a lot of difficulty with going underwater at swim lessons due to being afraid of water getting into her nose. So we initially purchased a pair of kids snorkel goggles (not these) and they worked but were huge on her face and stiff and bulky. These are WAY better. They are quite flexible and fit her face nicely and don't look massive. She can now participate fully in swim lessons and doesn't stand out as looking like she's going for an underwater diving lesson. We LOVE these!!

These goggles arrived with the nose indented inward. Not due to a packaging issue (like smashing the nose piece), this was a manufacturer defect. You can see the crease that was obviously made during production. I returned these and also contacted Cressi. They supposedly have a warranty. NOPE! Cressi asked me back & forth for days, details regarding the goggles and I even sent them detailed pics. Today I receive an email from the lady at Cressi who had been emailing me, saying that the company who sold them to me (through Amazon) would be contacting me. Well, thanks a lot Cressi for absolutely nothing. If a warranty doesn't cover manufacturer defects, then it's not really a warranty. I do not recommend these.

These are great! We needed goggles for our 7 and 5 year old boys. Swimming lessons and a trip to Disney water parks was the motivator for the purchase. So wanting to get some bang for my buck I bought a set of Head goggles for them, and they seemed to work great at first, but within 3 uses they were falling apart literally everywhere. We were able to make a few fixes and get them to last one more lesson in the pool, but then they were trashed. I should have spent the little extra money up front and bought these. I would be ahead of the game and $20.00 richer. By the time the first pair were used and completely failed I couldn't return them. This was a classic case of penny wise, pound foolish! In an effort to save money, I spent more in the end. So go ahead and save yourself the grief and money and buy these right out the gate.Plus, my boys LOVE them! They fit fantastic…no weird horrible pressure around their eyes making them look like goldfish. No adjusting to make them fit properly and work well. No leaking and really clear plastic lenses with so much area for them to see through.The little extra cost is WELL worth it!

My son has ASD and has difficulty swimming with regular goggles. Well, this last year he participated in the special olympics in swimming. I was desperately trying to find good goggles for him at a reasonable price. He likes the full face diving mask but can't compete with those and they slow him down. I found these and thought I'd give them a try. They were wonderful! They are light but well made. They lasted all swim season and are waiting for summer to use them again. He is very sensitive to touch but loved the way these felt. This works like a diving mask but with the flixibility and streamline of a goggle. Excellent!

This mask has worked wonderfully for my 4.5 year old son this summer. He has an average face/head size and has not had any problem with leaks. It has held up well to typical kid use and abuse. The strap is very grippy and stretchy, which makes it nice and secure, but if your child has longer hair or is sensitive about thier hair being pulled a bit I suggest getting one of the neoprene mask strap covers. Other than that it has been perfect. 👍👍

Save your money. At first my son loved these. Then I started to notice they were getting foggy around the suction parts. They get scratched VERY easily which I wasn't happy about. They are made for kids you wouldn't think they'd scratch so easily. We have had them just a year now and they broke! First it was the small rubber part that holds the strap then the whole strap broke off. (See pictures)Like I said save your money and get cheaper ones. So disappointed these didn't last more then a year.
