Very pleased with Toledo Goldfish! ***Day of arrival review: The fish were safely packaged and delivered on time. I like that they put a big yellow sticker on the outside of the box with clear instructions on how to equilibrate the water temperature and then release the fish, I knew how to do this but I'm sure others may not and having that on the outside can prevent some big errors. The fish are exactly as described, very nice specimens with a mix of lovely colorations. They arrived healthy, active and vigorous and when I released them one by one they all seemed ready to zoom around quite happily. From release this morning to frequent rechecks through the afternoon they still appear to be doing fine - I'll add an update to this in a few days but so far I'm very pleased!

Loved how fast they got here! They adapted to the pond easily and got along great with the other fish. When i unpacked the fish I thought some had died because they were in such a small amount of water for how many fish were in the bag and laying length ways which made a shallow canal of water for them. Maybe add a bit more water? But they made it healthy and are doing great. Thank you! I’ll be shopping with you again!UPDATE!!! Be aware that these guys do jump out! Just found one up behind our waterfall in the rock formation! So sad that it happened. He got himself wedged in there and was unable to wiggle back into the water. Otherwise great additions to our pond.

The 12 that I received were added to a pond with a couple koi, goldfish, and rosy red minnows from a local pet store. Unfortunately, those koi and goldfish weren't well and died. But if they had a disease, the shubunkins I ordered brushed it off. At least 10 and maybe 11 of these fish have continued to thrive. They've gotten acclimated to the pond, zip around, especially at dusk, and appear to have grown since I got them.I started feeding them Omega One sinking pellets and they love them so much, they ignore pretty much anything else. I might have to cut back so they spend more time attacking the duckweed!The attached video is a short clip of my favorite of the batch, a mostly black and white fish that is very, very shy. Most of the fish aren't as distinct. Some are white/silver/grey with soft spots and some are black/grey/silver with orange spots.

Mail order fish seemed risky, the vendor seemed very professional, so we thought we'd give it a try. Indeed we received healthy fish, and after following the instructions to equilibrate the fish in the bag, we carefully moved them into their new home. They're happy and healthy. Excellent vendor, healthy fish -- what more can one ask.The shipping cost surely contributes to the overall cost of ordering like this - thus 4 stars for 'value for money'; this is not the vendor's fault by any means. However, I see 3 reasons why the extra cost is justified. 1 = convenience, especially during COVID. 2 = the fish come directly from the farm, as healthy as possible. The entire 'know your farmer and trust your farmer' theory applies here too!. 3 = Our local pond store sources are often sold out and we've had health problems with previous local purchases -- cheaper per-fish cost, but risking making the pond sick, is no longer a choice I will be making.

The shipping from Indiana to southern Missouri was super fast overnight. I'm glad we got home just as the delivery guy put the box on the porch so I could get them into our pond right away. We lost two fish in the week following delivery (I ordered 25 and didn't count them, but from what others have said they put in a couple extra). The rest have thrived and must have tripled in size. They are incredibly beautiful to watch, especially when feeding them. They come to get their food almost like little dogs. If they differed in color more, I would probably have them named by now. But I haven't gone that far....

These fish are gorgeous! We ordered ten for our pond. Received twelve! They arrived in great condition, very active! One did jump out onto a rock then flipped back into the water! Received them early in September, they have doubled in size. Last week we discovered we have fourteen big fish and six little guys!

As a first time buyer I must say that I'm actually very impressed with the quality of the fish, care and speed of delivery. A sturdy well insulated box marked " Live Fish" arrived to my door in perfect condition. I was pleasantly surprised upon opening the box that cold pack was actually still cold. Much to my further delight, the fish were all nice sized, very colorful, and did not look stressed at all. After following the care instructions provide within the order I added them to my pond as just as directed.. The fish accumulated very quickly and stared eating mosquito larva within a few seconds. Only positive things to say about this company, ordered after the Thursday deadline but received my fish a day earlier than quoted. Even during all this covid-19 nonsense. Packaging was excellent,clearly marked live fish ,this side up, do not leave in sun. Fish were alive and healthy, and after two days in the pond all seems well, even received an extra fish I guess in case one went to "sleep with the fishes" bad pun intended.
