Looks like it was for A4 metric paper size. A4 was in the listing but this was suggested to me for 8.5 x 11. I found it works fine for any paper size.It is very solid and punches very good.I got the wire binders from a link on the same listing.Used to make notebooks with laser cut covers.

This has been an overall great purchase for our small office. I wish the directions were more clear, but it’s easy to figure out with trial and error. I would recommend this product.

I liked the weight of the product. It is sturdy, has real good margin and paper stop settings. The ring selector helps with closing the wire loops for different numbers of pages, and the handle is simple, but effective. Amazing all this quality for such a low price. When I bought, figured if I didn't like it then just do a return. But, frankly, it's one of the best choices I've made. Highly recommend.

I've used this a half a dozen times with very thick cover sheets and art paper it seems to work great so far

Extremely shoddy workmanship. Worked exactly 3 times, leaving large amounts of oil on all the papers it punched holes in. After literally 3 uses, one of the punching pins separated from the rest, rendering the product useless. Instructions written in jarbled, incomprehensible, poorly-translated pseudo-English. Avoid this product and any other product manufactured by this company.

I bought this binding machine for our homeschool and it died the first day. Out of the box it worked great. It was easy to assemble and punched through the cleaning cardboard beautifully. I began punching booklets. The instructions clearly state not to use over 12 pieces of paper. On my 3rd booklet I tried to punch through 10 sheets of paper. The middle holes did not punch through completely. I tried again but it mangled the papers. So I tried a different stack of paper with fewer pages. The dies were completely crumpled and I had to return the machine. (Also, this machine is ideal for metal comb binding and crimping. It is passable for spiral binding but does not line up perfectly, making it difficult to open bound pages.)Customer service was great. I had no problem in returning the machine or getting a refund. I wish the machine had worked better, or that the warning had been "no more than 5 pages."
