Polar FT60 Heart Rate Monitor and Sports Watch

I had been looking for a heart rate monitor for ages, but knew I didn't want to spend a fortune. After trying a few that were truly awful I found this Polar one. Knowing they are a good brand when it comes to heart rate monitors I had to try this one - I love white and it was a great price at £40.It arrived on a day I happen to have a personal training session so I got to try it out with some help. The chest strap is really comfortable and not bulky at all. The watch is a good size and really comfy, the strap is really soft feeling and well designed so it says in place, even when thrashing about on the ropes at the gym.I put in all my info, age, height, weight etc and did the test it has on there to get a gauge of my basic resting heart rate. During the workout it worked really well and even automatically synced up to the running machine I was on. It seemed pretty accurate as far as I can tell, and also gave me the calories I had burnt.It is easy to gauge if you are working in the right heart rate zone by toggling through the different modes on the watch, so this is really good if you are using it to get into the fat burning zone.When the workout is over you can see a summary of what you did, it also gives you a weekly summary. It has a built in trainer in the fact that you can set yourself targets based on what you want to achieve. I want to loose weight, so it has given me a weekly target of 5 hours working out with a plan to burn 1800 calories. I haven't quite had it a week yet, so can't confirm the effectiveness, but it is nice to have a target.The downsides are that you can't download the info to a phone or computer without purchasing another device that connects to your computer via USB. At the moment this doesn't bother me too much, as you do get your summery on the watch, and this is much much cheaper than some other higher spec options.The other downside is this really is only a heart rate monitor for workouts. It is no good if you want a pedometer, running tracker, sleep monitor etc. I think you can again purchase extra sensors, like one that goes into your trainer to track running (haven't fully looked into this) but saying that it is an excellent heart rate monitor, and I didn't purchase it to do all these other things.For £40 this is an excellent piece of kit, it might have less functions than something like a fitbit, but it is much more accurate on heart rate and calories because you use the chest strap.Even though I have only had it a few days, I love it, would defiantly recommend it. It gets very addictive checking where your heart rate is when running, swimming (oh yes it is waterproof too) or generally working out.

I absolutely adore my Polar Heart Rate Monitor and Sports Watch.I always try to be as active and keep as fit as possible. I’ve recently lost a lot of weight but found that my losses were getting smaller throughout the weeks and I couldn’t work out where I was going wrong.I bought this watch after I was recommended from a friend and it has completely changed how I exercise. It allows you to put you own details into the database to accurately determine how hard you are working in or out of the gym – usually I find a huge difference in the results between my watch and the ‘generic’ calories burnt on fitness machines.Both the watch and the heart monitor strap are comfortable to wear and I don’t even feel that I have them on most of the time. The fact that it is a watch means that I can easily check my progress without needing to check an app or the machine I’m on which I found annoying.Because it shows me how many calories I’ve burnt, how long I’ve worked out, my heart rate and which exercise ‘zone’ I’m in, it has encouraged me to work for harder and longer during my sessions. The results have been exceptional. I’ve lost inches around my tummy and legs due to pushing myself harder to burn more calories than my last session, and I’ve been able to build up strength and stamina in the process.I’m not a gym freak – I’m just an average person who is trying to become fitter and stronger through the right diet and exercise. I would recommend this watch to anyone who is wanting to do just that. I haven’t felt this good in such a long time!

I spent a lot of time researching which heart rate monitor to buy, and I'm glad I chose this one. Easy to set up and use, it has all the functions you could need if you're just wanting a product to track your general workouts and motivate you to improve your fitness.When the battery runs out, you do have to send the watch back to polar to be changed (usual shops for changing watch batteries won't touch these) and serviced, which means approximately £5 recorded delivery sending there, and roughly £16 for a battery change / service (you also have to fill out an online form which you submit, then have to print and post with the watch). Service was fast though - I posted mine on a Friday afternoon, and received it back on Tuesday the following week.

I loved this monitor for the first week while I was in the gym, but then I realised (when I started running on the road again) that it doesn't tell the time at the same time as your heart rate, so I would have to stop the session to check the time, and then start the session again (which doesn't give accurate readings). It also has days where it won't work at all, and keeps registering my heart rate as 0 (thankfully it isn't!). I found it works fine again if you rinse the strap (however, I had been rinsing the strap after every workout, and since the monitor has only been used a few times, I don't think it should be so temperamental... Besides that, it is a very simple heart rate monitor, only giving you very simple feedback. It is a good model for me, training 5-7 days a week at moderate intensity.

Ich wollte mir zuerst die FT4 holen, ein Grund war der Preis. Dann bin ich durch Zufall auf die FT60 gestoßen.Das Produkt kam schneller als erwartet an. Anleitung ist in mehreren Sprachen dabei und alle ersten Schritte, die Anleitung mit allen Details sind online zu finden. Hatte Angst das sich die Uhr "billig" anfühlen würde wegen des Silikonarmbands aber das ist es KEINESFALLS. Sie wirkt sehr hochwertig und edel für eine Fitnessuhr. Es gibt momentan keine Uhr die ich mit der hier vergleichen könnte denn das Preis Leistungsverhältnis ist UNSCHLAGBAR.Das Display ist beleuchtet und hat noch einige mehr Features die sehr praktisch sind. Das Einstellen und Handling der Uhr ist super simple und idiotensicher. So gut wie alles ist auch selbst erklärend. Der mitgelieferte Brustgurt ist super dünn und man spürt ihn so gut wie gar nicht. Die Uhr hat mehrere Programme und kann sehr individuell eingestellt werden d.h. für jedermann geeignet. Ich benutze Sie beim Sport und kann nicht mehr ohne sie mittlerweile. Die Herzfrequenz wird zuverlässig übertragen und man kann in Zonen trainieren, das erleichtert die Übersicht und die Kontrolle beim Training. Für diesen Preis ist diese Uhr Wahnsinn und günstiger kriegt man sie sicher nirgendwo als bei Amazon momentan. Die Uhr ist aktuell und super mit teureren Uhren vergleichbar. Eine klare Kaufempfehlung !!

Este pulsómetro básico cuenta con muchas características y opciones que guían al usuario (de cualquier nivel) de forma fácil y eficiente. Tiene un precio muy ajustado (me costó sólo 50€) y es casi imprescindible en el día a día del deportista moderno.Es un producto robusto y bien acabado, cómodo y elegante (en blanco) hecho para durar con nos mínimos cuidados, tanto el reloj en sí como la banda pectoral.El único "pero" es que no lleva incorporado gps, pero por un precio así, ¿quién da más?Lo recomiendo para cualquier usuario de cualquier nivel tanto corredor como ciclista como nadador.

Die Uhr inclusive Brustgurt ist leicht zu bedienen und wenn man sich damit kurz beschäftigt hat ist es völlig klar wie es funktioniert. Ich bin sehr zufrieden und liebe es, jetzt nicht mehr nur schätzen zu müssen, wie viel ich verbrenne, ob mein Puls in einem guten Bereich ist, es ist ein schönes Sicherheitsgefühl, genau zu wissen wie mein Körper das Training findet und was ich verbrenne,was ich für Fortschritte mache. Es ist eine tolle Uhr, mein ständiger Begleiter, sehr zu empfehlen! Deshalb auch volle Punktzahl von mir! Es kommt sicher immer darauf an was man mit der Uhr machen möchte, aber für meine Zwecke ist sie perfekt!

5 stelle meritatissime! il pacco è arrivato secondo previsioni e il prodotto era perfetto!Prima di recensire ho avuto modo di testarlo per quasi 2 settimane e non ha fatto cilecca nemmeno una volta!Non perde nemmeno un battito e con la giusta cura e pulizia vi durerà una vita!I pulsanti non sono per niente duri ed è di facile utilizzo in tutto e per tutto!La funzione "STAR TRAINING PROGRAM" crea e imposta il tuo allenamento su misura!Utile anche il "POLAR FITNESS TEST" che esprime i tuoi progressi nel tempo! inoltre ha una funzione che permette ad ogni allenamento di cambiare le zone di frequenza cardiaca in base alla tua forma fisica(vede se sei stanco insomma) di durata di 5 minuti!I materiali sono più che buoni lo consiglio vivamente! usabile anche come orologio per le uscite!Per quanto riguarda la funzione cronometro esso può essere attivato anche non indossando la fascia cardiaca procedendo come fosse un semplice allenamento!La fascia H1 nemmeno si sente! COME NON INDOSSARLA!UNICA PECCA: schermo piccolino! ma la cosa è soggettiva! ;-)

Grande cardio. Bel colore, facile da utilizzare e con molte funzionalità utili per lo sportivo. Utile per miglioramento forma fisica e performances.
