I ordered these because I liked how they appear to be made from 1 mold-and extra thick so the handles will not bend. I was not disappointed when they arrived. They are heavy duty, and should last us a lifetime. My husband, who is a metal worker/welder, is so impressed with these everytime he holds one. They are incredibly high quality. My goal was to spend a bit more money and purchase a set that will last us our lifetime. These are it. Highly recommend.

Solid no crevices for good to get caught in easy to clean and use

These measuring cups are super cool. Solid. Heavy. Sturdy. Sleek. Overall - exactly what I was looking for. Something with enough heft where the handles won't break when scooping something with a little more substance to it. Would I use it to scoop hard ice cream? Probably not. But these are certainly professional grade and I would use these in industrial/restaurant industry cooking.You pay for what you get - I can't decide if the $45 price tag is because they are industrial and sturdy, or because they are name brand "Sur La Table".... or both. But would I rather spend $15 on something with a plastic handle that will break in a year? Absolutely not.$45 isn't insanely crazy, but it might make some gun-shy. The added $8.99 for shipping really made it sting even more.When these suckers went on sale for $36.75, I knew the universe was trying to give me a sign.$36.75 + $8.99 (shipping) + $4.06 (tax) = $49.80For just under $50 - thumbs up!If you are looking for something that will hold up to repeated use, heavy scooping, or multiple users - these are the ones.They look great and they will (hopefully) hold up. Plus, yes - they ARE Sur La table...so BRAND FLEX!If you just need basic scooping, these are probably overkill. But as someone who worked in restaurant kitchens for almost 20 years - I love them and I have no regrets.

At first I fretted about the price but now that I have been using them for a few months, I have no regrets. I’m convinced I will have them for the rest of my life. Great quality. They are a bit heavier than what I’m used to but they feel great when using them. They elevate the cooking experience! No issues from putting them in the dishwasher.

After losing my 1 cup component, I was seeking a replacement measuring set, comparable to my circ. 1990, 18/10 heavy-weight SS Williams Sonoma set that is no longer available on the market.I wanted long straight handles, thick stainless that does not bend, flat handles that are continuous with the cup. I initially ordered a different brand, but on receipt, I found them too light weight.I read numerous consumer “best product” reviews and found Sur La Table was at the top of many third party reviews. This set is definitely a winner! Worth the money if high quality is important to you!

These are perfect - I really enjoy using them. Well built, accurate (as closely as I can test them anyway, by weighing a couple of them filled with water), with just the right sizes for my needs. I didn't need the bigger set that included a 2 cup measurer. That seemed like overkill for my uses.

I've had several measuring cup sets and this is the BEST! I use them daily. Don't waste time buying other sets. This is a little more expensive but you get what you pay for.
