I purchase this to use as a weapon and not as a walking cane. This model was recommended for this purpose and I agree.Its very sturdy and solid and once I cut it to my proper height its functions very well.Now the hook is a bit small for defense purposes but it works well in training but I haven't tested it in actual self-defense applications.Its strong enough to take a lot of impact abuse so I would recommend it as a general self defense cane OR its a very nice walking cane if you actually need an cane to assist your walking.I DID put a no slip cane tip on mine and that does help it keep stable on wet surfaces but haven't tested it on ice yet.I would recommend it as a training cane and covert weapon and a walking cane. you can't go very wrong with this cane.

Recent accident has made me use a cane for stability. This is a smart looking can. Strong, stable, and can be cut to length. A great value for the money.

I just received this cane today so I’m basing this review on only a couple hours of use. I have three other canes (hurrycane and a nova and drive medical offset cane and now this one). I find this to be pretty similar in terms of functionality and feel. It is quite a bit lighter then my other canes which can be both good and not so good depending on what you need it for. I have autonomic dysfunction, vertigo, polyarthritis and a connective tissue disorder so I need it for balance, to relieve pressure on joints and muscles when walking and and to lean on when I get dizzy or fatigued. Since it is lighter it’s easier to lift between steps and getting it in and out of the car or storage however I worry that if I ever lean too hard or lose my balance and it falls that it may break, especially over time. Also, by the weight alone it does ‘feel’ kind of cheap.In terms of look it is definitely the one I will be using for special occasions. It’s simple but sleek and goes with just about anything. I’m 29 and feel more comfortable with this one then my others in terms of look as it is more stylish and youthful then the others.As for customization... I was able to put a foam grip on the handle (I bought the grip and an extra tip from a brand called Nova) and with soap and water and a bit of elbow grease I was able to get it on well. It fits and looks great and is much easier on my hand. I also had to cut it a few inches as I’m only 5’/1”. It wasn’t too difficult and after sanding it down to smooth and even it out the rubber tip when back on without a hitch and it looks as if I bought it this way.One thing that I have to note is that the paint chips very very easily. It came with a couple minor nicks and you can probably scrape the paint off with your nail it’s that thin. For this reason I’m considering sealing it. I will also be buying a wrist strap since I do tend to drop my canes often (😏).All in all I am very happy with this cane and as of now would recommend it. I will update this review after a couple weeks of use.

Got this for my dad. Is very solid and the surface is very smooth. Very good price too. Also works for self defense of needed. Before you purchase, check with your doctor because your insurance may cover it at no cost.

I love this cane. It gives me all the support I need plus it is handsome. My children and grandchildren all want to hold it and play with it. I need to be stronger.Robert

Beautiful walking cane, I'm glad I got this. I have an older cane that is starting to show some wear and tear through age and use, and I always thought it a bit short for my needs. This cane is exactly a yard long, and works excellently for me. Very nice looking.
