Haircuts have been a nightmare for my Autistic son. These clippers have made a huge difference for the better. These are quiet & much more tolerable for kids with sensory issues. Charges pretty quick. Being cordless is a big benefit. They fit nice in your hand - not too big or bulky.

He absolutely hates getting his hair cut and he hates long hair that gets into his eyes. So, we bought a Remington a year ago and it was a horrible fight that we nearly had to restrain him when we went to cut his hair the second time. So we decided to get a wahl. He tolerated it a little bit better but it would still take us three sessions to get his hair completely cut. so at therapy we were told about sensory Clippers and how expensive they can get and that baby Clippers do the same thing. It was between these Clippers and another pair from Amazon and I decided to go with this one since it had better reviews. I am so glad we did! I just cut his hair and it took us about 10 minutes to get all of it. We actually got the hair around his ears and the past three years we never could. I would have to wait until he was pretty much sleeping and then I would have to snip the hair by one ear and then wait the next day to do the other. With these I don't have to worry about doing that again. It is super quiet and so easy to use. It fits perfect in my hand and the best part is the vibration is almost completely absent. I love that it came with 2 Chargers, and the oil, and a little brush. With it being cordless I can maneuver much better and not have to worry about the cord getting in my son's face. That was a surprising benefit. I truly wish I would have bought these sooner instead of being on the fence. If you have a special needs child, a fidgety child, a young toddler or baby, or any child that has a sensory issue I would highly recommend getting this!on a side note, I will say that the Clipper heads sizes are different then what I'm used to. I'm used to half inch, or quarter inch...etc... these are in millimeters. So it's like 3 mm, 6 mm, 9 mm, and 12 millimeter.

I like the sleek and slim build, makes it easy to hold and cut hair. The noise is not loud at all which is a big plus to cutting children’s hair. I do like that it’s waterproof although I wouldn’t submerge it in water, however a quick rinse and clean is great and ideal. I found it easy to cut my sons hair but a few things I felt could be improved such as the clipper levels they provide. There is only three to select from and it was challenging trying to do a fade correctly with what was provided. Additionally, the clippers them self don’t give a precise and clean cut when trying to do the line up, such as around the ears and behind the neck and side burns. I found my self going over and over and over those areas trying to obtain a clean cut.If your child’s hair is a bit long I recommend starting off with the largest clipper attachment and doing it in sections before going straight to a shorter level cut, the longer and thicker hair tends to get caught in the teeth and stops the clipper from cutting dead in the middle of cutting the hair. We are currently on quarantine and my son needed a hair cut so I figured I’d give this brand a try. In the end it’s an okay product to buy and use, it gets the job done and I’ll use it again. Definitely could of used that brush to dust off all the hair off my son after the haircut but it’s okay I gave him a bath right after. Make sure to have a some dusting powder and at least a Clean make up brush to dust your child as the hair aggravates their skin and them.

I bought these clippers because we all need haircuts and salons are closed (due to covid). Apparently all other clippers online are sold out and I found these. My oldest has sensory processing disorder, and haircuts have always been really tough, and I wished I had known about these types of clippers. (Maybe they didn't exist when he was an infant 10 years ago?!) The sound is not whisper quiet though -- it is about a slightly quieter sonic care toothbrush buzzing sound. The guards that come with it, are double-ended. You can flip it around and attach to the clippers for a different size. The guards are white and you have to look in the back of the guard super closely to see what the mm size is. I used a sharpie to write the corresponding # size so I could identify it easier -- the highest size it comes in, is around a #3.5/4 ish (9-12mm). I wish it came in larger sizes/wider variety. But it worked for us, as my kids tend to do around a #3 on the sides of their heads. It charged up in just a couple hours, and it was fairly easy to use. It came with a little brush for cleaning, a little bottle of oil, a kid apron (velcro for smaller necks, tie cords for larger necks). My kids are 10 and 8, and I was able to use this OK for them, no problems (beyond my haircutting skill level lol). They have pin straight medium hair -- not too thick, but not baby fine either. I was really worried about these clippers not being able to handle any hair that wasn't baby fine, and that it would pull on my kids' hair. But it didn't at all! After doing both my kids' haircuts, I used this to fine tune my husband's haircut... and it DID pull with my husband's hair. His hair is not much thicker than my kids' hair (it's actually thinning), but I'm pretty sure that was due to the clippers running low on battery. Next time, I'll have to make sure it's fully charged ahead of time. I'm glad I got these clippers, we will definitely continue to be using them during this strange pandemic time.
