Malabrigo Sock 886 Diana

The yarn arrived sooner than expected and it exceeds my expectations. This is a super wash merino wool, which is very soft and not itchy at all. The fibers are very fine, the characteristic that makes merino wool ideal for clothing. The color is spectacular, I ordered this for a lace cowl that will blend perfectly with several fall/winter outfits and it will add another warm layer with style and without bulk. I would recommend this seller to anyone looking for a high quality, natural fiber yarn and will buy from them again.

I love knitting with Malabrigo wool, and “Archangel“ is absolutely gorgeous!. It’s soft and doesn’t split. I’m supposed to be knitting gift socks, and my husband wants a pair of socks knitted with this, but I can’t give these away. Mysteriously, all the socks I knit fit my smaller feet!

This works up really nicely and feels great next to the skin. No fuzzies. Super soft.One skein crocheted a smaller sized shawl so I'm adding another skein to make it a bit larger. I'll wear it as a scarf. I might use the reminder for wrist warmers.The colors are warm and earthy. This dye lot was Not as red tone heavy as some of the photos show. It's beautiful reds, wines , ambers, browns, and evergreens. The free pattern online is called Winter Ice.

This was beautiful yarn to work with. Made a small shawl/scarf with a lace border. It has nice stitch definition. I will try to add a photo.

The color was not as it was advertised; I purchased it because of the "Red" tones; but I got dark/green&blue tones. I did not send it back only because it is the MaliibrigoYarn. Very Disappointed it was not as advertised. I thought to try ordering again but couldn't bring myself to trust what was being advertised; "brite red" tones instead of the green & blues tones that I got.

I love the color, I thought it was multiple skeins but it's actually only one and it's very thin. However when you consider it being made from actual sheep and hand died $20 is a very fair price. I plan to make mine into a hat.

Such a beautiful colorway! And oh so soft.

It's pretty! I don't know what else to say. It'll be awhile before I can get around to knitting with this, but for now, it's a beautiful paperweight.
